Yorkies and roasties go without saying.:j0 -
First night out tonight without Kermie! We've been out for dinner etc a few times, but never without Kerm. It was a 3-line-whip Chambers bash, so had to go. It felt very weird going out, in the evening, on my own!
OH was left at home with Isaac and Kermie, and lots of milk, because I've no idea what volume he drinks in the evening, as he doesn't have bottles (turns out to be a LOT, he had 16 ounces between 6.30pm and 11.30pm, which is nearly a pint).
Tomorrow we're all off to my parents' house in Kent for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and both their 65th birthdays - my Mum is 66 on Sunday, and my Dad was 64 in March, so they are having a joint bash half-way between them.
Caused slight irritation. We said Mum shouldn't cook, as it was her party. There will be quite a crowd - my parents, both my sisters, my Dad's brother, my Mum's brother and his wife, me, OH, Isaac and Kermie. My Bruv's still in South Korea, not back until Christmas.
So sister 1 is doing the main course, with a veggie alternative for sister 2. But sister 2's apparently "too busy" to do a course, so I'm doing both starter and pudding. Busy?! I've had two days in court this week, and I have a 5 month old baby! Busy my foot.....
OH's made his magic humous, and I've made chocolate mousse and meringues....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

It's lovely if you can manage a Meet and Greet service, but it must make for a very long day for you.
We went to sleep at 9 last night, as we were dawg tired, but I've woken up now after 7 hours sleep, and it's 4 in the morning. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Generally, if you want something done, it's best to find someone busy to do it.
I hope that you have a lovely party. It's a wonderful occasion, and much to celebrate. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

We've had early starts for the past week as my parents wake up very early. That doesn't stop my dad falling asleep on the sofa about 15 minutes later mind you. All that counts is that at that one moment he was ready to get up, therefore we must too.0 -
Do you find it's connected with needing to go to the toilet? One reason I find for interrupted sleep is often to do with having drunk something later than tea time (or even at tea time).
What a wimp!0 -

I can ( and do) sleep through the day when I'm tired. ( I have to be up morning and night anyway to let birds out, let dogs out etc etc. big dogs bladder goes about seven hours...)
What I won't do is drive the car If I feel compromised by health. It would be stupid for me and selfish towards others.
Sometimes I drive there and get him to drive back though.....:D0 -
