We have the same stuff. Are you meant to refrigerate it after opening?

I wouldn't think so, squash used to always be kept in cupboards and pantries. I just prefer cold drinks. I also don't want several opened bottles cluttering up the space, especially if I "go off it all" for a few months. So it's part of my "keep things organised, under control and tidy" ways. If I open it I have to drink it all before opening the next one ... and if I don't like it then it's tough :)

Sometimes I think doozergirl should never have mentioned Dyac. I've had to lock the dogs out because they are jumping on me when my laughing turns in to laboured squawking and coughing.

Here are the five unopened bottles lined up: http://i60.tinypic.com/2ezp8is.jpg

I drink it out of the small plastic beakers I bought at Ikea - which are in cheery colours. http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/0145357_PE304804_S3.JPG which cost me under £1 for the set.

I'm getting them at £1/bottle at the moment. I thought to transition to squash from Pepsi I should go for a brand that I knew I'd enjoyed in the past, hence the big brand name. Once weaned off, I can then try other cheaper brands (although I've tried the Lidl 89p ones and they're fine). I thought if I focussed on "cheap" at first they might be nasty and I'd give up too soon :)
79p/bottle at the moment at Lidl apparently.

I can't be sure, but I might have got a couple of bottles at that price the other week. I can't remember where I got them from to be honest, last two were from Mr S as I was in there yesterday and saw they were £1. I'll get in tune with where the best prices for it are and keep an eye out.

I need to branch out into other drinks at some point though .... criteria will be: taste, calories, price. There are some lovely sounding "dilute to taste" drinks on the shelves, but not low calorie. And many cheap/low calorie drinks can be dire.

You do have to watch what the supermarket shelves say ... carefully. Although they had the £1 bottles, alongside and around them were the full price flavours too.

Harry potato and the sorcerer's stove.

I've laughed so much I'm too weak to fold the laundry I've been doing.

If you like non-sweet flavours like pink grapefruit, you should try lime.

I don't know if I'll like pink grapefruit - I certainly am not a fan of grapefruit as I had a couple when I was growing up and they're sharp.

Lime's a cordial though, I thought; I've had that in the past.

DW says the Sain double concentrate (normally on offer if you buy two of the larger bottles) is just as good as the Robinsons although she drinks the sugary stuff not the sugar free.

Despite the BTL not being for sale it appears we have sold it again for the same price as the sale that fell through although this time it is strictly no completion until the 12 months AST is up - we could invoke the 2 months notice break clause but I am not willing to do so as I told the tenants we wouldn't (although of course if they want to leave sooner they can).

I have been surrounded by people with the virus that is going round at home and work. My nose is tingling today, my throat has been dry for a couple of days, not hopeful :(
    I think....

How mush is $100? - to me working for effectively $50 per week doesn't sound like a good idea.....
