How mush is $100? - to me working for effectively $50 per week doesn't sound like a good idea.....
Mrs Generali pays to go to work if we set child care costs against her income. That's pretty normal for women of primary school aged kids and it's a f%$^$%^ disgrace quite frankly.
$100 is about fifty quid, four quid and a bit a day we could say.
Anyhoo, we'll see what happens and I'll keep you informed.0 -

I've laughed so much I'm too weak to fold the laundry I've been doing.
I was already doing pretty much everything other than the thing I'm supposed to be doing.
I was wondering why I can't just get on with it and have to stop every 20 minutes (it's getting less than that now) until friend on facebook pointed out that it's a really boring task. Important, but boring.
It's excel based. I have a feeling that I could have a formula to make it easier but I'm so far out of practice, I cba to work it out. A list of 319 items to do. I need to split it out according to trade and create a new, smaller sheet for each. I think if I wrote a trade in the next box, then I could transfer it in to a trade specific sheet where it appears in the main document. I'm halfway through copying, pasting and editing it though and the architect got bored and started putting "as room x above". YAWN. It makes for a sense check, I guess.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

There are eight rather hefty wood pigeons feasting on berries in a not particularly substantial tree. It looks like a scene from the 12 days of Christmas!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

the saga continues.
I was assessed by an OT and Physio on Monday as needing a package of care as I cannot put my aides on without assistance and OH cannot be with me everyday as he will travel for work. My GP said the same and faxed social services to get this in place. I am pretty independent an d we have made adjustments to enable this. elasticated clothes, convert bathroom to wetroom, so social services have said I am not eligible as aides are healthcare and then we go back round the no healthcare provision.
trying not to get annoyed as i nreed to keep my blood pressure under control.0 -
oh spirit.
You see why fir and I just handled it all ourselves now with private stuff. To fight for what one needs seems to be a fulltime undertaking in itself and there seemed to be a negative socioeconomic bias at that time. Certainly, I still note that seems relevant when talking to consultants fwiw.
Doesn't get you dressed in the morning though.
Short term can you find a private care package for when your DH is not around.....am / pm for dressing/ undressing?0 -
Oh spirit how frustrating
Doozergirl How did your viewing go? Or have you already told us and I missed it?0 -
