Every time in check the Boss's train arrival time the delay on it gets longer. Grrrr. :(

Does he have a car parked at the station?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Doozergirl How did your viewing go? Or have you already told us and I missed it?

Ah, they were complimentary about the inside but the garden is too small for them and they don't like the idea of a new house being built over the back. At least they gave feedback!

I find it hard in colder months too sometimes and do find a bit of flavour can occasionally help one over the hump.

On occasions I like squash with boiling water rather than cold water if I'm feeling cold but don't fancy decaff tea.

I'm with Sue on sleeping problems - I am awake several times in the night, never feel rested in the morning.

Do you find it's connected with needing to go to the toilet? One reason I find for interrupted sleep is often to do with having drunk something later than tea time (or even at tea time).

    Very pretty :)

I do like the pink grapefruit one in particular.

Hot orange squash was a 'poorly' drink for me too. I'd erased hot orange from my memory until now.

I wasn't really that nice, but it was special.

    the saga continues.

I was assessed by an OT and Physio on Monday as needing a package of care as I cannot put my aides on without assistance and OH cannot be with me everyday as he will travel for work. My GP said the same and faxed social services to get this in place. I am pretty independent an d we have made adjustments to enable this. elasticated clothes, convert bathroom to wetroom, so social services have said I am not eligible as aides are healthcare and then we go back round the no healthcare provision.
trying not to get annoyed as i nreed to keep my blood pressure under control.

I don't know if this makes a difference/helps/puts up the bp but when Old Pa Generali had Alzheimer's being found to have a medical rather than a social need went in his favour. Perhaps that's the Postcode Lottery in action.

Certainly in the UK, looking after children, whether paid or unpaid, is seen as low status and low paid work. The wages nursery nurses etc. get are appalling considering the responsibility of the job.
The UK restriction of Max 3 kids makes it both very expensive and poorly paid, most other countries manage with higher ratios and thus lower prices and better pay.

I fear the threat of building could be a problem, if the new build was there it would probably hardly be noticed but the fear of the impact of something not there yet will be pretty powerful. I think this so part of the reason why neoghbouirs always complain about planning applications.
    I think....

I loathe squash made with hot water.

I made home-made squash a couple of times last year which was yum! Concentrated fruit juice, cream of tartar and sugar. Once made with bought orange fruit juice concentrate and once made with a glut of lemons.

We've got The Boy's soccer team lunch today which is always fun. We're going to the bowling club which is in a really nice spot. Lamb is on special in the supermarket so it'll be slow cooked leg of lamb for dinner with some seasonal veggies which means pumpkin, broad beans and asparagus at this time of year. Nom!

All roast meals and similar, even nut roast, should ALWAYS be served with more Yorkshires than you can shake a stick at. It should be made the law.

You're right. People have a fear of the unknown.

It's here, it has compromises but it is also bigger than anything else for the money if people are interested. I will get around to another planning app, but at the moment I am fine. I needed this finished before I could think about taking on any more stress. The house got finished off, there is no more mud and we have two lovely projects to take us financially through well into spring. I'm positive about what I have planned beyond that.

Staying here for a while won't hurt.
