what have I missed?
Pastures is checking that I have done everything correctly to sell my house with a Sarah Beeny TV program as revision. I'm using Sarah Beeny's website to sell it. Our house also ended up in her column in The Sun on Sunday.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Cheers to spirit!
Had a very expensive glass of champagne with a very expensive meal in a very high building yesterday. With the night lights of London in view. The glass I Raised to spirit was at least 300 foot off the ground!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Lime mint is a plant, then?
Yes.. There are loads of 'flavoured mints' . They smell/ taste of the thing. Chocolate mint is planted under our window bird feeder because I thing its a bit ......not nice. It does smell of chocolate mint though and fir lives it, but its the one I least mind being covered with bird poop because I imagine I'll actually use it once in a blue moon.

Oxo Tower?
The weather has gone made over here. We've had snow in the Blue Mountains just outside Sydney on the anniversary of their worst ever bushfires! It's dull and grey today but set fair for the weekend.
I've really got to do a bit more about finding a job. I really CBA though.0 -

That may explain the rather odd sleeping/waking pattern you used to have....
I never drink coffee, we got an old coffee machine from my DB so tried it out, I had half a cup of weak coffe mid afternoon and barely slept that night.
Oxo Tower can't be 300 feet tall - then again The Shard is more like 300m?I think....0 -

I've really got to do a lot more about making sure my last week of October isn't harder work than it needs to be.
It ain't going well. At least I've had a bit of time out from 24/7 company and escaped walking very slowly round an art gallery with someone who didn't really want to be there, but fancied going round somewhere else even less.
You can do it Gen.0 -

Oxo Tower is 225 ft apparently. As one of my favourite Aussie broadcasters likes to say when using imperial measures that's 15 furlongs per ounce squared.
I arrived where I park the car only to discover that it's 2 hour parking now. Then I managed to get on the wrong bus. Hmmm.0 -

Correct. 32nd floor of the Shard.
I was just guesstimating that each floor is probably about 10 foot.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. PasturesNew wrote: »I always liked Pepsi Max - and had developed an expensive addiction to it. I used to be happy just having some cans a few times a year, but once I got to my parents' house it was something they understood and they'd keep telling me the price of it everywhere it was on offer, so it became easy to say "yes" when they offered to pick some up. They used to get into these obsessions, if you said you liked something once that's what you'd get for the next 20 years.
So I started drinking more and more of it ... and continued to do so. And even though I was only ever buying it at £2 for 8 cans, I was getting through 8 cans/day.
I finally cracked that addiction the other week, just to see if I could. I am now on a variety of different Robinsons No Added Sugar squashes. Right now I have 7 bottles in the kitchen. I like the Fruit/Barley ranges, I've probably got orange, apple/pear, orange/pineapple, summer fruits ... and I know I've got a pink grapefruit too... no idea why I chose that one to try.
I make it up in a jug 4:1 ratio (measured).... and I think a 1litre bottle takes me just over 2 days to get through (5litres of squash). Not had a Pepsi for 4-5 weeks I think.
Pink grapefruit is nice, not too sweet.
8 cans of pepsi max is one hell of an addiction. Think rotting teeth and caffeine overload.
