Pastures, I recall you mentioning that some of your distant forbears had been in trouble with the law... I thought you might like this page about seasonal lawbreaking!

A brilliant find. One that wasn't related to me was a story I found of a boy who went to court for stealing 1 penny of coal. It didn't take much to get locked up back then!

A great description of a culinary abomination.

I assume you've got your table booked for your return? ;)

    Advice NP.

Could be random occurance or related.

    I bought a wifi and air-print printer.

Problem 1: Set it all up and now my ipad doesn't see the broadband router unless it is in the same room as the router. Could the printer's own wifi be interfering with the router's wifi?

problem 2: (2 days after printer installed) internet went down and came back having forgotten all its security settings, works fine but has lost its security settings. Of course I can set it all up again, but wondered why that would happen?

I've just realised I have a few days annual leave to take this year. So I'm on holiday as of now :D

Edit: my manager has just confirmed I'm now on holiday, and my out of office message is on :j

What out of office message have you put on? Rurik Jutting wrote 'Please contact someone who is not an insane psychopath.' Apparently nobody thought this was at all out of the ordinary until after the bodies were found.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I've gone for a more conventional 'I'm out of the office with no access to email, I'll reply as soon as possible after I return on whenever. Best wishes, Nikkster'.

I feel like I should have put more effort in now.

Oh I'm ok :). I fall over all the time. :). I don't like it, but I'm fairly used to it. I don't like the embarrassment of it mainly, and getting up. But, you know, I could use the stick all the time just in case. But I think that's over kill frankly. Better to be embarrassed.

Do you have a pretty stick to use? Falling in the house is bad enough, falling outside must be terrifying.
It doesn't sound like overkill to reduce the risk of falling, at some point it may be you suffer more than embarrassment. I would like to buy you a pretty stick, if you will use one.
