I like Greggs sausage rolls, they're my guilty secret.

I'm whacked, the flight has finally caught up with me. I'll be asleep by 8pm.

I used to get Greggs sausage rolls for breakfast :o Not every day of course, but as far as I was concerned the extra time in bed was well worth the 80p.

It's the best hat I've ever owned. Mine doesn't levitate unfortunately.

It wouldn't keep your head warm if it did levitate, so perhaps it's just as well it stays put!

    Enjoy your sleep, Gen.

If I am out tomorrow, as I might be, I know there's a Greggs on the High Street, so maybe I'll go and try their sausage roll .. just to see if it's any good.

Of course, having got that far, I'll probably be suckered in by some Christmas pasty or something else.

Having told Gen how unseasonably warm it was, I walked into town yesterday and froze, even though I had on... a long sleeve top, a short sleeve top, a cardigan, thick trousers and a fairly warm raincoat.

Today I've been indoors most of the day. About to curl up and watch Salmon Fishing in the Yemen on BBC2. Supposedly not as good as the book, but hopefully an enjoyable use of 100 minutes..

Recording Salmon Fishing :) Haven't read the book so that shouldn't be a problem! Apprentice Final at 9, and the sister is currently catching up with Strictly from last night.

Start date for job now not until 2nd Feb. It's better because it gives me more time to think about living arrangements.

Gregg's sausage rolls are pretty filthy as food goes, but also great. I think its because the sausagey bit (which must just be pretty much pink goo) is so moist. They are also fantastic for hangovers.

If it were "my Christmas", and I were hosting, I'd either make my own stuffing, or buy the packet that's "almost the right flavour, but not quite" and lump it.

Is making your own an option? I'm sure you could reheat it on the day.

No. Not allowed to make my own (even in addition to the regular one). Not allowed to change anything. Not allowed to reheat anything. It all has to be done in exactly the way the homeowner does it, else there's a huge paddy and a threat of walking out :)

The Gregg's steak bake is far better than their sausage rolls, which just make me feel sick.
