Yes, I had been planning to offer you use of our car as we will be away pretty much all the time you are here if you were willing to pay to be put on the insurance.

    Yep, that's very generous.
If Generali doesn't take you up on the offer, is there any chance I could put Mrs. Wheezy on your insurance?

Totally unrelated to your comment, I did suggest to DW at various points over the last few months that the best solution for our car would be for her to 'acidentally' scrape all the panels down one side on a fence post resulting in the car being written off.
    I think....

    1. Generali has no hay or dogs

    2. Spirit has a rather stylish car in good order I believe...I don't think having it scraped my michaels wife is in her list of good options for it. ;)

Many years ago, Mr Bugs' close friend blithely said, 'Use my car (nice big Volvo)whilst we are on holiday as a thanks for dropping us and collecting us at the airport'.

There really is not much time between meeting Mr & Mrs Friend at the doors of the airport and the drop-off parking, not enough to sugar coat the fact that you left the M56 at speed and their car is a write-off having been driven through fencing.

Amazingly they stayed friends with him......

Actually, maybe michaels is hoping his would be totalled?

It was a very long a drawn out process applying for my job. Including an interview date that I accepted and they didn't follow up on - I was too nervous to call them and ask !!!!!! was going on. Emailed them a couple of days to ask whether it was still happening and was told (after the date, no). Took 6ish months between applying and job offer. Good job I wasn't trying too hard job hunting!

You're still in the game. Maybe someone is off sick? Who knows why. Good luck.

Hope you're ok too Yorkie. Look after yourself.

It's the being messed around with the dates that's getting me down really. They were talking about a start date of early January anyway, so it doesn't really make much difference when I hear.

It's just being told that I'd hear on the Friday, then it was the Wednesday, now it's the Monday. It sounds like it's this final candidate being awkward about the date :(

I'm just exhausted with the whole thing.

It could be all manner of things. What I was trying to say is it's not uncommon. Not that that helps you much, but still.

I know it's your territory Mas, but I hate the whole modern way of doing things. Haul a few people in, check they can string a sentence together and have the qualifications you are looking for, do they seem like someone you can get on with or not. Make your mind up, stop wasting everyone's time.

Welcome to Bugs nice trucking company' s simple way of doing things.
