Drink more?
I suspect it gets easier as time goes on. Having less gap between test and results might help.
Great news Gen. I didn't like going for my six month tests but it is a necessary evil and it definitely does get easier. I was lucky, test for Mel is visual, so no waiting for results, but over time it just became a step on the way.
If they had any doubts whatsoever about anything, they wouldn't be sending you away for another six months. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Excellent news Gen.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

It's a pain and it's time consuming: the PET scan takes a day as you are sedated and then you have to go back to get the results too!
It reminds me of a joke though. A woman goes to the vet with her favourite pet budgie which is very unwell. She takes it in to see the vet and it falls off its perch. The vet looks at it and says, "I'm sorry to have to tell you that your beloved bird has died".
The woman is distraught and refuses to believe the vet. "How can you tell he's dead? All you did was look at him".
The vet silently opens a door and a dog comes in. The dog sniffs the bird and shakes her head. Then the vet opens a second door and a cat enters the room. The cat nudges the bird very gently with her paw and again shakes her head.
The vet then says, "There you are, confirmation that the budgie is dead. My bill is £200, you can pay as you leave".
"£200 just to tell me my budgie died! That's shocking!"
"No," replied the vet, "it was £20 to tell you the bird is dead. It's the cat scan and the lab report that cost all the money".0 -

Great news, Gen.
If they think your lung probably has an infection, are they going to do anything about that?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Yeah, I got a bit carried away. That or my interwebs are a bit weird today.0 -
Thanks all.
The longer version is:
- Parotid gland (when I had Leon) is completely clear
- Throat has exactly the same tissue damage as last time (no worries then)
- Some small damage in my lung. Might be cancer but probably an infection of some sort.
