Just a pure guess on my part, but perhaps it's due to the EDS. Your height includes the size of all the joints between your feet and your head, including lots of joints in the spine. If each of those loosened up by 1mm, that would give you an inch of growth.

That was pretty much what I had thought to be honest, more to do with the compression or relaxing in my spine due to the EDS. To add more fuel to that, at the time of growing an inch, I had lost a fair amount of weight via weightwatchers....against that, I didn't lose the inch when I then put the weight back on.

My height still goes up and down but it goes up and down an inch higher than it did before I was 31, so who knows :rotfl:
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I am a previous malmer. I have been malm free for about 2173 days.

Billy bookshelves though? A design classic for the proles.

    Expedit bookcases here.

Our house is an homage to Malm. I only bought DS's side tables new.

We're taller in the mornings usually, not sure by how much, but appointment times could potentially make a difference.

Ah, that must be my problem then as when I am in bed, my feet touch the end of the bed and I feel quite slim, yet when I get out of bed I am 5ft 3.5 and my body fills out so that a fat woman is standing there!

It's compression on standing! Or the fact I have been sleeping stretched out with my head not on the pillow but halfway down the bed and dreaming a happy dream of being a skinny :rotfl:

They do...but all the measurements taken at all different times of the day were 1" more after the age of 31.

    Strange.
Whatever the time of day, I'm always the same....tall, slender, sporting a well-toned six-pack...

Bad news....still on cruddy than usual meds

    Good news...they delivered them!!

Have a busier than normal week planned next week and really hoping I get through it with out too much weird ness. I had a funny turn making the fish pie this afternoon.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to brave making a lemon pudding. :)

You probably need to sit down at a table to do your cooking etc. Not something most people do as we never see it done on telly, except in the kitchens of period dramas.

Yeah, I'm still looking for the right stool. But its different today tbh, I just think I have a bit of a cold. Though I have a funny thing I'll look into sometime. My fingers look like I've been in the bath, all pruney. I'm not dehydrated.

I've not done much today, but plenty of little jobs.
I awarded myself the day off to celebrate my birthday - going out with friends this evening.
DS was sent home from work unwell today; there seems to be a bug going round, but luckily it seems to be short-lived and is only cold/fluey rather than the winter sickness one.
