Anyone got any dehumidifier tips? Think I need to invest in one.

Don't tell PN but we got ours off freecycle.

I'm with you on on this, by all means give money to charity but no need for the facial disfigurement.
    I think....

Our dehumidifier was from .....lidl? Or Aldi.....I can never remember the difference between the two apart from Aldi is where we get washing up liquid.

I'm quite impressed with how much water if collects.

Edit: On second thoughts, its a while since we had it on and I'll be asking fir to dig it out this week end. I do recall its not the quietist of machines.

It would be worth some investment to me to have a quieter running machine for an area of the house we are near while its running for example. If we buy a second one that would be something I would rank very highly on list of requirements.

That's on my to do list. I imagine it to be wonderful, with amazing views.

Views of the Hudson were good, the rest was an interesting blend of new and old, interspersed with different art and generally a good way to see how different areas blend into each other.

We were told that it gets crowded at the weekend, so we went today. Downside is that there is a lot of construction work going on which makes a hell of a lot of noise.

Youchy faux pas from fir. A female friend of his ( definitely not mine) recently got married. Tricky background, has dated both brothers , bouncing between for a while and the family are in great discord over the situation. DH sent a text asking how she and wrong brother were enjoying post honey moon life back In old routine.

    Ooops.

    Tee hee....

Fairly funny as far as Faux Pas goes......;)

When I did Movember I made an extra $$$ for the charity by shaving it down to a Hitler/Chaplin for the final day and wore it like that at work.

I have actually suggested the hitler moustache at work.
Worryingly, some people have suggested it would suit me

Today somebody asked me if I thought DS might have EDS. He doesn't have any of the problems you describe James suffering, but his fingers bend back much further than they ought to, and he is having difficulty at school because writing is painful for him. Does that sound familiar to you, Sue, or was the person who spoke to me barking up the wrong tree?

    :bdaycake:

EDS, like most things, come in different ranges of severity. James is far more severe than I ever was at his age, I didn't dislocate like he does (save for my ankles) for example. James also has some crossover to Marfans as well, so that needs to be taken into account.

Josh has the incredibly bendy fingers and until recently, didn't really dislocate...now his hips come out. He has a slightly different crossover type of EDS to James as he also has the bleeding issues.

Youngest had loads of problems walking when younger because his ankles were so bendy, he is very bendy now but doesn't dislocate at all.

It wouldn't harm to get it checked out though, hand specialists are great if you can get referred to one as they can make up splints to help or even write to the school to suggest using a laptop/tablet during lessons and exams.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
