Interesting, do you need to get planning approval to convert an office to a dwelling?
malm is much better quality than billy IMHO. kids had billy bookcases that gaped at the back. The plastic thingummys that were meant to hold the backing in vertical columns aren't up to the job. The trim also comes away too easily.
We once bought a display unit in Wembley IKEA that had been delivered there by mistake, apparently it was only for the Swedish stores. So we got it cheap and no-one knows it's from IKEA.
You do need PP, yes.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Done for not only the car, but also the bike!:)Can I remind all northern hemisphere NP who have cars that with the colder weather setting in, tyre pressures drop and need to be checked and inflated back to the right value? I've just done mine this morning. (Underinflated tyres perform worse on wet roads.)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Never had a Billy myself. No malm either. However....I am a previous malmer. I have been malm free for about 2173 days.
Billy bookshelves though? A design classic for the proles.Doozergirl wrote: »Expedit bookcases here.
Our house is an homage to Malm. I only bought DS's side tables new.
Thank you! Couldn't remember expedit! I'm sure NDG is an expedit gal too. Treasured vinyl lives in an expedit.:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Also, I'm now furry. I need to trim something into shape, then update my mospace.
What style would the NP recommend?

To be fair I feel your pain, having shaved the goat (no that's not a euphemism) this year in aid of charity fundraising for Movember, the selection of my new manly mustachioed facial fuzz is proving to be quite the conundrum.
I think I'll go for something like this.....
.... just to spite the colleague who guilt tripped us all into signing up.

Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
