    I've been Money Tipped!
    Odd things of today.

DH was contacted by the GP. He has to go in because according to his health check at the gym he has grown. One of the reasons they check is to check no one is using his identity in another part of the country, the other is that....why has DH grown?

Also, he had an allergic reaction to eyedrops today. He said he thought his eyedrops had been doctored and replaced with acid. Luckily simple oral stuff available OTC was sufficient and he's been advised to take it for three days. I get these weird allergies and don't get alarmed at all, but I find it worrying that HE is.

I fear I may have overstepped the line from trying to understand to bullying. I'm sorry, PN.

I'm afraid that I find your specialness quite fascinating, partly because you reflect so many of my own character traits, just a bit more concentrated.

I do sometimes feel "picked on" by you :)
Ah.... so you're stalking me to find out how odd you are. Fair enough :)

I thought growth stopped at age 24...although I stopped at 10.

I 'me not sure when it stops but fairly sure in healthy people its not going on in the thirties. ( I was this height early too....11 or twelve? It was a worry because I thought I'd out grow ponies, but i didn't....then!)

Its very much most likely fir has been mis measured.

The crucial thing firstly , is that he can confirm no one else is using his name and details in another part of the country and leaching from NHs. ( which is done...the confusion being his go is here, the health check was there) Next thing is to get measured again.

Edit: Maybe they didn't want to flatten his curls or something? ;) he had a lot of hair cut of on Saturday.

Ah, so sorry! It's lack of empathy on my part. I keep thinking, well I will just ask this question so as to find out more about what it's like to be you. But some of my questions have been quite challenging.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Yes, but now I know why it's OK.

Anyone else watching TOTP2? My word, we listened to some weird stuff in 1979.

Fascinated by Russ Mael's suit. Wearing it in 1979. Came into fashion with Miami Vice. When was that, about 1986? Talk about ahead of the curve.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I've been bursting not to post about how proud I am just for trying even. :kisses3:

    Me too. :T
Yes, but now I know why it's OK.
    :)

PN knows all about posting a question because you want to know the answer and then finding that the other person feels picked on in a way the questioner never intended. I'm not surprised she understands you and feels it's OK now. The strengths of the NPT appear again! :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Not if you turn off the power and it fails to reconnect :)

We had a power cut at work today. It didn't just affect our building; others in the street went off too. Very interesting for an organisation that is seeking to become digital by default ... and the wider building had issues too because the toilets are flushed based on electronic sensors in the wall rather than manually

Surprisingly enough, our phones remained on (the rest of the building's phones didn't).

(Un)fortunately, they found an alternative source of power within 20 minutes so we didn't all get to go home early on H&S grounds...

Change of subject, but for those NPers with an interest in family history, it appears that find my past is free this weekend (midday 7 Nov onward, I think) because it's Remembrance Sunday.

    I'm 6cm shorter than I thought I was, which I find scary.

    It's probably just me, though.
