#45 checking in with my monthly update.
total now sitting at £1500 aka 150%.
I've been really lucky not to have to use it so far but I think my luck is going to run out........I'm going to need to use some of it next month as my bathroom is being gutted completely and it's slightly over budget. Finger's crossed I will only need to sweep the extra over so I'll be left with 100% but I'll know more in a few weeks. I guess I've had a good run of not needing itI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. A big welcom to dreamtruce, who is #229.
Been a bit loopy in the Patman household lately. Was supposed to take my son to the dentist last Sat., but he is so terrified of them, he cancelled. I wouldn't have minded, but I had just activated a visitor's parking permit.
Not wishing to waste it, I decided to give MrsP a lift into town and bring her back home (if she was ready in time to leave town that is). Whilst in town, I visited Metro Bank and opened a card account with them to run alongside my saver account (which has no card). I also deposited another £12 worth of £2 coins into the saver account.
Anyway, I have been carrying on with my regular deposits into my EF.
This month is car insurance month, so have that to pay.Never Knowingly Understood.

The damage is in, I'm down to £500.
I did win £50 from Premium Bonds this month but I'm putting that into a Regular Saver instead.0 -
I wouldn't worry about it Kim. At least you had the funds in place to deal with the expense without having to resort to a line of credit.Never Knowingly Understood.

Hi everyone, #226 checking in with a new total of £150
Planning to save around £50 p/m at the mo so progress will be slow for now. On a positive note I haven't even thought of my EF since last month so good habits are being formed!
