I haven't popped in for a while. My EF has been quite nicely settled at just over £1.1k
I need new tyres on my carI know they are going to be about £150 per tyre:eek: but....I've been using YNAB and budgeting for car maintenance and I have enough under this category heading to cover buying the tyres without touching the EF :j
My husband did ask what the EF was for if I am budgeting for things like car maintenance, household maintenance etc. in YNAB. I said it was for anything major where we don't have enough in the budget under any other relevant category. He just looked confused :rotfl:
Ouch to expensive tyres! :eek:We have expensive tyres on our car too, one tyre cost us over £200 last time but that was from the dealership as it was an emergency and no one near by had them!
Well done on your savings so you didn't need to touch your EF. :T
Pay day here so have put another £30 in to the EF.

EF has taken a big hit. It is now down below the £150 mark as I needed to tx £200 back to pay for MOT and repairs.
It is true to say that Feb has been an expensive month as I took my eye off the finances as I spent way above budget on a Lenovo Yoga tablet for myself and a new printer that can handle cardstock for MrsP.
March is going to be the month I start to get back into the right frame of mind.Never Knowingly Understood.

Not been here for a while but am with you all in spirit.
Happy to report that my £1000 EF is still intact:j. Not sure how that happened but I've cut myself a bit of long-overdue slack in my DMP payments now I've gone self-managed. Not enough surplus cash to go mad with but just enough to make small purchases less of a panic;)
Patman, don't worry about your latest 'buys'. Sounds as if they will be very useful and should easily repay the outlay. At least you had a healthy EF to cover the costs:T.
Just noticed that you've now got 225 members:j. Absolutely brilliant:T, especially as at the start you wondered if you would even attract 50.0 -
