EF should of taken a big hit as fridgw freezer packed in today (well, fridge hit +19 and the freezer dropped to -18 this morning, but temps have returned to normal now). Cannot afford to take the risk that it was a glitch that caused the problem as it cost us all the food in the fridge.
Have ordered a new one which comes tomorrow and my mum (who now knows of my financial situation) has offered to pay for it.Never Knowingly Understood.

Sorry to hear about the fridge-freezer, patman
. You can't be too cautious where food safety is concerned so I think you've done the right thing getting it replaced. If it can happen once it can happen again and you'd have been forever having to check the temperature:eek:

Dobbibil you are so well organised it puts me to shame.
I've only been organised for the last few years after being disorganised for many, many years.
I love to see youngsters being so organised at such a young age for some of us it was all about the hard lessons instead of listening to the wiser ones.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards.
