EF should of taken a big hit as fridgw freezer packed in today (well, fridge hit +19 and the freezer dropped to -18 this morning, but temps have returned to normal now). Cannot afford to take the risk that it was a glitch that caused the problem as it cost us all the food in the fridge.

Have ordered a new one which comes tomorrow and my mum (who now knows of my financial situation) has offered to pay for it.

  • Sorry to hear about the fridge-freezer, patman:(. You can't be too cautious where food safety is concerned so I think you've done the right thing getting it replaced. If it can happen once it can happen again and you'd have been forever having to check the temperature:eek:

Good for Mum coming to the rescue:beer:

£28.00 total moved into my Emergency funds,
I'm going to transfer £28.00 each month for now, as I am also saving to move out soon.
I will transfer little bits here and there too to slowly build it up.

I've only been organised for the last few years after being disorganised for many, many years.

I love to see youngsters being so organised at such a young age for some of us it was all about the hard lessons instead of listening to the wiser ones.
