Hope things work out well for you Patman. :)

Updated my siggy and it's looking terrible. :( You may remember we went for a cheaper supplier for our washing machine as it saved £80, the only downside being we'd have to wait a week for it to be delivered. Well delivery day came and went and the truck broke down (no ones fault just one of those things). But the earliest they could deliver it was another 5 days wait!! So we cancelled it and ordered from somewhere else, upshot was that a very similar washer (practically the same just different number) was £10 cheaper but by this point and with bad weather on the way DH convinced me to buy a tumble dryer too. Just a cheap one but still....

I've got a year to build it up again and to be honest I thought that one of the potential emergencies we would need the money for during our 'financially tight year' would be to replace the washing machine...so at least that won't happen now.

Pay days have started so should be able to add a little bit to the EF soon. :)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

    Thanks for the welcomes :D

Sorry things are up in the air with the job situation again Patman - at least you've put yourself in such a good position to weather it this time. Hopefully you'll keep up your streak of being out of the game for a shorter amount than last time :)

Mossy don't give yourself too much grief for using your EF - its not like you've just frittered it away. You have something tangible to show for it and as you say, hopefully you've headed off an emergency in advance by replacing!

I got the unexpected surprise of a travel expenses rebate from a previous job today (it was at a temporary workplace so they owed me petrol money for commuting). So a nice little boost to the emergency fund to get it started! :o

    Sitting at £225.36 now.

Nice one. Those unexpected liitle 'windfalls' are always welcome, no matter when, or indeed, how they come about.

Thanks - I've even managed to clear a cc this week too so I'm chuffed... Still got a mountain to climb though with 4 more cards to clear and a 3-6 month fund to build...

Not quite sure what I'll spend my money on when I'm debt free!

I was able to put in £15 from surveys this month, and then some today as it's payday, nice to see it going in the right direction again!

No 112 balance now at £384.47, not a great lover of working overtime but when payday comes around it makes it worthwhile.
:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.00
