I noticed a few posters still updating here. Well done on reaching the first target. :T Keep us updated with your progress and/or another threads details if you find/create one for the next stage of 3-6months salary.

I've got to dip into my EF unfortunately for a new boiler that has just gone boosh. Will be updating things in a few weeks when we have the work done as I'm not sure how much I will need to add to 'other money'.

For now though, it's a case of plod along and don't touch it until the last minute when the work gets done.

I still post here. I've looked for another one, but haven't found one. I don't feel I should start my own as there are times when I'm not on here very often so would leave it abandoned at times.

Nothing wrong with anyone wanting to start such a thread. Just make sure to announce on here.
Anyway, now that MSE has finished it's repairs, welcome to member #129, blue_bird.

CBC, I had cataract surgery back in 2011, so my eyes don't change. Hence these new glasses will last until they break.

  • Hi All,

I would love to join in - can I have a number please?!

I'm starting with £55 but it will be a couple of months until I can add any large amounts, so for now it will just be dribs and drabs when I can manage it.

    Thanks!
