  • Hi everyone
I've not been around for awhile as changed shifts and working silly hours. Nice to see everyone weathering the ups and downs and still making progress. Well done Patman on reaching your ef goal.:):
Not made any progress with my ef for sometime as struggling to meet the added cost of petrol for job....... But paid today and I'm delighted to report 300 going to ef:j
    So onward and upward.:)

    Just checking-in myself.

Now have a finish date for current job. 23rd October (unless I can convince the new manager to extend it), but have plans for beyond this, so not worried.

  • Shame about the job ending, patman, but you sound upbeat about things as ever. Good luck with whatever happens next:beer:

Additions to my EF have been sadly lacking lately:o as any extra money I've made I've had to spend on unexpected stuff. At least I haven't had to plunder my EF pot to cover it:j

    Keep at it, everyone:beer:

We had a new manager start this week. He answers only to the guy who owns the company. Next week I intend to tackle him about a fully perm. contract. I feel that this will be readily forthcoming as we have 3 huge orders to make (talking several months of work here as we make cladding for buildings), so am talking about a lot of metalwork to be done.

On the plus side, my 2 Barclays CC accounts have been sold-on to PRA Group so I can now start to use my Barclays account again without fear of them using the money to clear my outstanding debts.

Welcome to the challenge. You are member #133.

Should have been adding to my income, but rain stopped play as they say in cricket. So instead of finishing off a demolition job I started yesterday, I am sitting in front of the TV.
