    Good morning :)

Off sick yesterday, horrible hayfever, at work today but only because taking double dose pills, not ideal and gives me a headache but take some paracetemol and can survive, just need some storms now and it will ease.

Thanks moneymindsam for dropping by, is great to have my passport now, not that I can afford a holiday, well put on hold temporarily sigh, but keeping fingers crossed.

So expenses have landed, but had already counted in previous goals but least ticked of the list. Some good ebay sales over the last few days and £40 odd withdrawn from paypal, still one left to pay but transferred to savings and added to the mini goal.

Have to go to my southampton office again tomorrow for a meeting, sigh, but it will net me £63 in expenses, probably only use £10 for fuel etc so that can go straight to my mini goal :)

    Mini Goal - £4208.30 - £46.23
    Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
    Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

    Good afternoon :)

Back in cloudy grey southampton, good drive down very boring but thinking of the pennies :)

Was stupidly late up this morning so asked YO to do hoss, so an extra few pounds spent, will try and scrape from loose change. Was shattered now this morning, another bad nights sleep, hope tonight is better as 3 nights interrupted sleep is horrible :(

Interest received from various accounts today - 17p not a huge amount but still a small increase and have added to my mini goal figure :D

    Mini Goal - £4208.30 - £46.40
    Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
    Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

    Good morning :)

Crappy journey home last night, just under 2 hours so not back till after 7 so ended up getting a takeaway so £8 spent yesterday between the YO spend and takeaway, nevermind, least its not everyday.

Ended up with 21 NSD in June :D

Brain is going overtime at the moment, too many things spinning so will write them down (please feel free to ignore)

Finances first - Payrise confirmed, YAY so an extra few pounds next month, wait for payslip to see exactly how much extra but pleased. It was confirmed that it is unlikely that we will get a christmas bonus though, its never definite but always nice to have, last year it paid for vet bill and third of annual expenses for car etc which was great. Obviously will still need to save up for those funds so thats always something to think about, cant worry about that right now but have got it at the back of my mind.

Sofa payment out today so another £30 added to mini goal, total of sofa owed is now £89 so only a few months left :) Another grocery voucher landed last night for £10 so going to use tonight to get fresh top up groceries. Have another £10 voucher but for a different shop so can use that in a few weeks, still due another shortly too.

Am due in shortly - £27 odd from survey site, £63 expenses and £50 cashback from referring sister for new windows. Add these in to mini goal and total will be £216, not bad as only been on this for a few weeks, obviously wont count until landed but all helps. Again keeping everything in savings for now (bar sofa and CC min payments) to take advantage of any interest payments. The sofa payments once finished will see if I can transfer that over to the savings each month straight away.

Have spoken to neighbours about renting a room, worked out what I can rent out tax free and need to cover expenses, am looking at £350 which is about £75 below current rental rates in the local area, may leave me £50 short due to increase in council tax etc but speaking to mum she is happy to subsidise me that £50, saves her £300 odd a month which she is currently contributing. Means dont have to faff around with tax returns etc and also mum is free to save the money she currently contributes if needed to put towards getting my mortgage in sole name.

Still not heard back from ex, seem as they seemed so desperate a couple of weeks ago but thats fine, I need as much time as I can get.

Other things spinning round my head includes been invited to a friends wedding this evening, I am not sure if I want to go, its a bit of an awkward situation, lots of weird history, will only know the groom there so not sure.

The other part and another reason I dont want to go to the wedding is feel a bit out of sorts with life admin etc, been concentrating so hard on financial situation recently just everything else has got out of control. House needs a good tidy up, havent done any work with my hoss for a few weeks and my hair needs a good cut and colour.

So I think my weekend plan will be to sort the house, do something with the hoss and dye my hair, cant technically afford dye but will buy today as will make myself feel better. Will see if I can book in a haircut next month, if I go to place up the road, not fantastic but does an ok job and is only £20.

Ok enough of my waffle, really should get on and do some work, at least the majority of that is on top of!

    Mini Goal - £4208.30 - £76.55
    Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
    Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

    Good morning :)

So didnt end up going to the wedding, friend bit peed of wait and see, not the end of the world though, not stressing what will be will be. Did food shop and got hair dye, ended up doing friday night much better than it was so pleased.

Saturday spent a few pennies, took nephew to his school fete so paid for a few stalls and rides so worth my pennies :)

Sunday sorted more of my ebay stuff, about 90% done now, more rubbish thrown away and what has been sorted is stacked neatly and photographed ready for listing.

£13 odd made on ebay this weekend so have transferred to savings account and mini goal updated as below :)

    Mini Goal - £4208.30 - £89.89
    Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
    Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

Just having some thoughts, if for example wanted to clear the mini goal within a year (obviously want to clear it a lot quicker) but for now say a year then need £350 a month to do this

Min payment on BC around £105
Sofa payment around £30 (3 months remaining but can put sum towards this after)
    Total min pay £135

So £215 to find a month

This month should be ok so far have £92 already plus another £27 due in shortly.

Next month should have £110 due in.

So a big shortfall to make up. Surveys and e-baying are really helping. Will hopefully have a few extras like gas/electric refunds but these arent all guaranteed.

So just a small target but always worth a shot. Will keep going as I am and total how much found each month.

At the moment if I exclude the sofa payment am averaging £4.81 a day which isnt too shabby :D

So am on month 1 from 22 June, will run till 22 July, have amended mini goal to include in this £350 a month figure to see how I get on as helps focus the mind.

    Mini Goal - £4208.30 - Month 1 - £350 target - £92.89
    Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
    Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K
