    Good morning :)

Another ebayer paid, £11 to various pots now at £3 and £206.

Had a thought, depending on how well emergency savings are going and depends on time etc but thinking when I have reached £500 will re-assess and see where I am. Thinking need to save the insurance etc for next year and also my 0% on my Bcard ends in Feb 2017. So reach £500 and then see what happens. I ideally want £1k but £500 will be better than nothing and can always start to re-save after.

Spoke to boss, apparently pay rises are coming in July anyhow so good timing, he said he was going to offer me 2% but saw that was miniscule so was going to top it up slightly, seen as I am probably the lowest paid in the company so he should lol as I probably earn pittance to what some of the others earn. So fingers crossed as not definite but should be getting extra £750 a year, had a rough look may get about £20 to £50 extra a month which will really help :)

Wont come in till 1st July so wont see any benefit till end july with first payslip so still another 2 months to go, but keeping everything crossed :D

Good afternoon, quick update before home time :)

Bought some slug pelletts today for my garden, but had some vouchers sent in the post so no pennies spent. Looking at soaker hoses for the garden, saves me having to faff around watering every night, mum may have a spare one so should only need to buy 1. Going to check and measure at the weekend.

I do have an old watering type system with sprinklers etc but it is very complicated so going to see if I can dig out and sell that to negate the cost of the new system.

    Good morning :)

Opened some unpaid cases on ebay, awaiting payment for 3 items, 1 is a big one, sigh, but hey ho. 1 has paid so £2 transferred to holiday fund, usually split but as a low figure thought not worth it.

I can foresee a spendy weekend again, need to get some fresh bits , my freezer is still looking ok for a another 2 weeks but my fridge is bare and have no fresh fruit etc. Should get the hossie some carrots too as she hasnt had any for ages, mean mummy ;)

Going to see if I can sort my hoses for the garden and dig out and try and sell the old system. Also need to crack on with some more ebaying too, how exciting

    Good morning :)

Spendy day yesterday, bought soaker hose, now set up in garden so can water all of garden now without standing there, will save me lots of time :) Also spent £56 spent in sainsburys, included top up fresh fruit and veg shop, lots of bread, fathers day card and £10 on a dvd for me. It was Shaun the Sheep Movie, saw it at my sisters and oh so funny, love it and cannot remember the last time I bought something for myself like that, do not regret the £10 :D

So today has been a NSD, listed some new bits on ebay, sold one thing on facebay, £10 made, could have made more if done on ebay but hassle to pack up as bulky, guy was very pleased and he said it was a bargain, I said happy as £10 is ok and better than cluttering up my house, am sick of the clutter and after spending 5 years with my ex am becoming less of a clutterer myself. So £10 for me in cash which helps the bigger cause and a very happy guy with the stuff, good deed done for the day :D

Few ebay items sold but awaiting payment so cant count yet.

    Good morning :)

One ebayer has paid £2.18 sent to emergency fund, still awaiting payments on others, have raised a few cases. Have a bid on one of the items listed yesterday already :)

Sorted a load of cash4clothes so going to take those down tomorrow, hopefully a few more pennies in the pot.

Going to ask my boss to see if he will put my pay rise up by £1k rather than £750, not a huge increase but will really help me.

Working out a few figures over the weekend and am actually better of in what I need to give to ex.

So figures when he left was house valued at £280K, less mortgage of £150 equals £130K, less £65K which is the figure my parents put in leaves £65K equity. Split this in half between ex and I is £32.5K each, less the £5K I have given since he moved out is £27.5K, so a £2.5k reduction on what I actually need to buy him out. Still shed loads of money needed but happy to lose £2.5K, had all these figures before but obviously maths brain wasnt working correctly.

Off to update my signature as will look a lot better :D

Will keep the best stuff for ebay and trade in the rest. Will add to my to do list, it is ever growing ;)

Have e-mailed my boss re the extra £250 pay rise, watch this space, always worth asking.

    Good morning :)

Yesterday measured up by back gate, went down to the local fencing place and they are going to come round later and measure up for a quote, hopefully not too excessive, it is a mess at the moment as door and frames are rotten, previous owner didnt take any care at all so once that is done will be the whole of the back garden finished.

Had hoss trainer last night, long reined in school and then had a quick ride on the roads, she was very good, managed only 1 session this month so saved a few pennies, trainer now away till July so will do some work myself.

My boss agreed to my pay rise of £1k :D Is not a lot to him in the big scheme of things but will really help me, cant wait to see payslip at the end of july to see how my net earnings have increased.

One ebayer that hasnt paid, case raised and now closed so have received final credit fee, annoying but at least no money lost. That fee credit plus a small survey payment that has landed means another few pennies added to my targets, now at £38 and £212 respectively :)

My passport arrived yesterday, super quick turnaround, didnt use express service just standard so thats good. Now just need to keep on those holiday savings to actually be able to afford to go somewhere now :)

    Good morning :)

So good weekend, got hoss food, takes me up to near OD limit but should be plenty to last a month so will be covered by next months budget. Spent £10 on chocolate and biscuits, oops, had none in the house but paid out of cash from sale of fb item last week. Sunday didnt spend a penny, cleaned my house a bit and sorted a few more items out for selling etc. Sold a few items on ebay, one posted today, one awaiting payment.

So woke up this morning feeling ok and positive with life when boom, a message from my ex's new wife. Basically she said that my ex has been trying to contact me about sorting the house out and taking the name of the mortgage and that they need to move forward. Ok fair enough but am angry  <-- this doesn't even begin to show how I am feeling, not for the fact that they want to take the name of the mortgage, I always knew this day might come, but for the fact that she has said ex has tried to contact me, which is a blatant lie . Anyhow I have calmed down and responded very civily saying that my ex hasnt had to contact me, we had the agreement which we signed last year and there has been no discussions since. So we all need to sit down and discuss the next step. So the ball is in their court now, am not going to chase going to see what happens next.

So obviously this puts my financial plans into haywire

I obviously cannot afford a holiday now :( Am onto new plans.

So taken a bit of legal advice and my ex would have to force the sale of the house via the court, cant just take name of mortgage easily, so there are options, obviously I dont want to go down this route so this is last resort.

Done some number crunching this morning:-

Total Debt at the moment is:-
    Bcard - £4644.94
    Sofa - £119.40
    Total - £4764.34

    Mortgage today is £145,990.70.

I have checked some mortgage calculators this morning to see what I could borrow, it comes up with a max figure of £122K.

£146K minues £122K leaves me £24K to find. Plus £4.7K to clear my debt first as that will also be taken into account and will lower my mortgage figure.

So for now am going to forget about the £24K to find for the mortgage, there are options including parents helping me out.

My main priority is to get rid of the outstanding debt as this will impact my mortgage figure.

So £4,764.34 to find. Good news is that its all interest free.

Counted up all my money in my savings accounts and have £430.04. Have £126 in an expenses claim to put in, will do this today so this figure taken of the debt means I need to find £4208.30. So thats my goal.

Going to add to each entry to see what I can achieve.

For now am going to leave all my savings where they are and not pay of the debt yet, as its interest free, the sofa should be paid of by end of Sept, the Bcard is interest free till Feb 2017. Am going to leave the money where it is and earn a few pence interest, everything will help and will re-assess when the time comes.

    Mini Goal - £4208.30

So the good and bad news...

Bad news is my pc screen seems to have gone kaput at the weekend, was going to try and buy a new one, bah but wont be able to afford it now. This somewhat curbs my ebaying and other selling ability as only have wee smartphone. There is a laptop at work at the moment spare in the office so going to see if I can borrow this at home for a few weeks, will temporarily solve my problem there and can get cracking on more ebaying etc.

Good news is that I may have sold an item on facebay over the weekend, hopefully picking up tonight, if so then £10 made, fingers crossed :D

Payday on wednesday, new budget set up, going to stretch it till the last degree if I can.

I need to do a big food shop, have been eating out of the freezer for last few weeks and have had minimal spend, now down to last 4 meals in the freezer so need to do a big top up. I have £25 of vouchers due to me so that will take a big chunk of spend of, just hope they arrive soon :)

    Back again!

So having a look at what bills I can reduce easily.

First stop vodafone - am in contract till January next year so thats a no go.

Next stop virgin media - have managed to downgrade my package, less tv channels, its fine I can survive with the basic channels, halved my broadband speed and gone for the basic landline package. Was £52.99, now £38.99 a saving of £14 a month. This months bill already generated but will save as of next payday. Also as downgrading mid month have a £13 adjustment for next month so next month saving £27 :)

Next stop bank account - currently pay £15 for account. This however does cover me for things like mobile insurance etc and for breakdown cover. Major thing is the breakdown cover, I am aware I could get this cheaper elsewhere. It also at the moment is letting me have minimal interest rate on my overdraft, about £6 a month. So I called them they can downgrade account straight away but my interest rate and charges would go up. So it would cost me approx £6 for having an overdraft and £12 of interest each month - total £18 so actually more than I am paying now ever so slightly. So plan for this to get out of my overdraft pronto then can cancel the account upgrade and then be £20 a month better off. So a saving for the future.

    Mini Goal - £4208.30
