Good afternoon
Hoss trainer a couple of days ago, long reined in school, my hoss is soo lazy its too much effort, so funny, then took out for a ride around the farm, very good and didnt need trainer leading her, just happy by herself and not worried whether trainer near her or not, so great as listens to me as her rider fine. Trainer is going to borrow one of the YO's hoss's soon and then we will go out for a hack, cant wait
Fencing man round today replacing my side gate, bit of hassle with him turning up late and then not having 100% all the bits but should be ok, fingers crossed and finished by tonight.
Off to see a friend this weekend, few pounds in fuel driving there but then he will provide food for the rest of the weekend, hope to go out tomorrow but prob just go to a castle or 2 to make use of EH membership so will be free
No more extra pennies in or out so thats not great in terms of target wise but no spending is good. Another voucher has landed for groceries so have £25 to put towards next months shopping bill
Got to go down to my southampton office on monday again, great not, will mean another few pounds in fuel so will scrape by on that this month, but will mean extra expenses at the end so will keep my eye on that!

Good morning
Good weekend, went out on Saturday with friend, he provided pack lunch, went to a few castles, free with EH membership, I paid for 2 ice creams and then back to friends for BBQ. Sunday got fuel, came home and relaxed with the tennis.
Seem to have gone over budget this month, for some reason lots of random misc spending, nothing major just odds and ends at the supermarket. Also need to get hoss food at the weekend, have stretched loads but going to be a few days before payday, typical! So dont think will make any indent on the overdraftWill possibly be £60 from the limit which is carp but will keep trying on that.
Good news, another small ebay sale over the weekend and a mystery shop survey payment has landed so another £30 odd sent to savings and target updated. After min payment of Bcard due out in few days will be over 2/3 way there, wont meet the target this month, but not done too bad.
So more money due in, big expense claim, back down in my southampton office yesterday so a few more pennies. Have also claimed another £25 odd from my gas and electric back in credit refunds, am glad I switched as definitely paying off.

Good morning
Rant alert  So there was a german lady at my yard had a hoss, was crippled lame for ages, finally she had the good grace to put it to sleep a few weeks ago, got to the point was just bone and was having real trouble breathing. Now the lady and I never got on, she used to tell me how to train my own horse and look after it, she needed a good look at herself before she could even criticise me. And she also threatened to send me an invoice for her time as she had spent 3 hrs clearing the field and accusing me of not doing it, which is a complete lie. Anyhow so she has finally had the decency to do the right thing by her horse and have it put to sleep, it was a long time coming. Got down the yard yesterday and my hossies and others are all in the wrong fields. The german lady went down yesterday and removed all of her electric fencing. Now it was a shared field so shared fencing, assume 75% mine, just posts and tape and the rest was hers. She knew what was hers as she had white tape, mine green and she had written with permanent marker on her posts her name  So she has gone down worked out which is her stuff and taken it down, she hasnt told anyone she was doing it in advance so we could put up new fencing, no just left the tape and posts in a mess where she has taken her bits away. Now I could understand if she had moved her hoss, but she doesnt have a hoss anymore so doesnt need fence, and yes it was her property but at the end of the day, it was rubbish stuff anyway and probably only £10 worth, most probably went in the bin. Its just the principle I am ranting about, she potentially put mine and other horses in danger, didnt give a stuff about the impact of what she was doing, if she had told somebody least we could have planned in advance  So YO was very sympathetic to me as know not my fault, I have temporarily fixed my fence but now need to spend my weekend re-doing it all  Again luckily I have lots of spare tape and YO has agreed to give me some spare posts as I am super skint, but it just pees me right off. And breathe!
On other news listed some new items on ebay last night, have one bid on already. NSD yesterday and went to mums for dinner to catch up so free foodSmall spends today need to get bread and a sandwich for lunch.
There is hundreds of plums on the tree at the yard, owner has said to help myself so off to google what I can do with them, maybe a crumble or 2 that I can freeze. There are also cooking apples, but they are not ripe yet.
My garden is yielding lots of strawberries and lettuce at the moment, the parsnips, carrots and runner beans are all growing nicely too

I feel your frustration - sometimes people can be so selfish. She is clearly in the wrong any trying to prove a point.

Picked load more plums yesterday, gave some to mum, have some for lunch today and found lots of recipes to try, going to stew a load and put them in the freezer ready for future and have some yummy puddings to eat now
Mortgage out today so another bit knocked of the larger target, still no word from ex so thats great, maybe they have decided its not worth the hassle at the moment, to get me of the mortgage and also where to put all the ex's stuff!!

Catching up very slowly! How annoying about the fencing. Electric fencing is great but very dangerous if not all correctly strung, powered and kept taut. She sounds charming....:o
Great having the mini targets, you are doing really well.0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Good morning
mfmaybe she was a very strange lady, least she has gone now!
Gas & Electric refund has landed so another £25 sent to savings and mini goal updated.
A tub of moisturiser in the post last night for testing from a survey site, always pleased to get free stuff
Have updated my signature as well so reflects a clear picture. Total debt figure is correct - shows sofa, CC and OD. Mortgage figure and buy ex out up to date too.
The 2015 savings targets are still the same. I have enough still in my general savings to pay for insurance, counted in my mini goal at the moment, but saved separately, same with the horse fund and the holiday fund. The emergency fund has gone right up as thats where I have been stashing all my extra pennies in recently, nearly halfway to target. Know it will probably be paid to the debt but for now at least am earning a few pence interest.
If nothing happens with ex, by Feb next year my sofa debt will be gone and by 0% on Bcard will have run out so then is the time to probably use my savings to clear whats remaining, fingers crossed can save enough by then

Good morning
Good news - nice weekend, saturday got hoss food, paid in advance, guy packed car for me, came home, found out I have 2 extra hay, saving me £12Went out in the afternoon to local parish day, spent £5 on few rides for nephew. Made a cake out of some of the free plums and stewed and froze some of the others. Sunday didnt spend a penny, took hoss out for a walk, ok listened most of the time, few wont walk on incidents but overall pleased
Came home and listed some ebay bits.
Bad News - ex came round talking about money etc and the houseSo it seems that he is happy, they dont need to move house so not desperate to take name of mortgage in that sense, but ex's new wife doesnt trust me as she has had financial difficulties with her ex. Fair enough but ex has been gone for over a year, in that time I have paid all the mortgage etc myself and also given them a lump sum of £5k for part of ex's share. She must know that I dont want to sell so am not going to default. Anyhow long and short it appears that ex has a lot of debt, he owes £16K  plus sofa (which is still in my house ). Asked what ex's wife owes he didnt say, I assume some, and also they have a joint car debt, lease on 3 years so that must be costing them money as well. So from general conversation, kept it vague and didnt offer any firm figures gave him a choice, a) we pay ex some money each month (towards his share) and can work out to get the mortgage in my name quicker, or b) we could give ex a lump sum but it would take longer to take name of mortgage. Either way it will all have to agreed and signed. So he has gone away to think about it. I talked to parents after so we need to now decide on the plan.
We are thinking about starting to overpay the mortgage, if we do then we could shorten the term quicker for me to enable to take on the mortgage which is the ideal plan. So investigating that at the moment. Going to see if I can sort the spare room in the next week or so and get that up for rent asap as that will really help.
For now otherwise need to carry on with what I am doing, that is working, its still a long haul and still no idea of the outcome but am not beaten yet. I still want to achieve all of my goals stated in my signature, I am nothing if not stubborn and will not give up.
So financial good news, bcard min payment was paid today, had £8 of loose change, pennies etc so paid that into the bank, found some old euro notes so exchanged those at the bank another £6 odd, and a few ebay sales over the weekend, another £8 odd so new total today, wont meet by £350 target this month as it ends on 22nd but have made over two thirds so super pleased

So if we agreed on giving him a lump sum then it would mean me taking on more debt, darn it, not a great option but would give me some leeway. I have lots of "available credit" on my credit cards or could get a loan, I do not want more debt but it could be an option. Obviously still work my butt off to get it all clear, it will be much harder to get the mortgage if I have debt so that is something else to consider too!
For now I am going to see if I can squeeze my budget, last month it has gone very pear shaped which is rubbish but today is a new day. So bills, already got down as low as I can, will have a saving on my virgin bill this month as swapped over so should be a small saving, hope to send to savings. Hoss food, with the extra hay that I have unexpectedly that should (will) last me till next payday so shouldnt need to spend a penny on that. Farrier is due, scraped some spare change and random pennies in my purse so only need to budget £10 instead of £25 so £15 saving there. Food I have a £3 voucher for fresh fruit and veg to use for one shop and also £25 of vouchers for another shop. I still have a packed freezer so should just need fresh bits over the month, will see how much I can minimise there.
