Not much point in doing otherwise, I suggest.Do you believe in good luck?
No. Luck is an interpretation put on an event or outcome by someone. It may be regarded as unlucky if, for instance, it pours with rain on your wedding day. But it is just down to what weather systems are doing on that day. There is no special reason for it, influence from anyone, or it being payback for something you've done.
Similarly there is no reason to suppose some people are lucky or unlucky for any reason. You may be regarded as lucky if you won £10m on the lottery but it is simply statistical and someone has to win. Pure chance.
The silliest concept is inanimate objects being lucky or unlucky. Rabbit feet, charms, or whatever have no influence on outcomes whatsoever. How could they?:dance:We're gonna be alright, dancin' on a Saturday night:dance:0 -
No I don't believe in Guardian Angels or any other kind. You were lucky thankfully - it sounds like a horrible accident."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

I don't believe in guardian angels. OP I think it was solely your quick reactions, that enabled you to walk away from an awful accident with only minor injuries. Hope you are making a good recovery. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

No I don't. I think you had a lucky escape and that is all there is to itWith love, POSR0

Wouldn't have made a difference to my accident - no one else involved, just a slippy road, so if I had have been doing 10mph faster probably wouldn't have walked away so easily.
Everyone can choose for themselves if they believe or not, and I choose to believe!
You haven't understood, have you. Read my post again please. If you were driving 10mph faster for the whole of that journey *you would not be in that place* when the RangeRover overtook the lorry. You would have been somewhere else, maybe several miles further on.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

Thanks, exactly that :beer:The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
I do believe in guardian angels, I think some people have more than one.
But then I do believe in some sort of spirit afterlife, mediums, ghosts etc all that sort of thing - but then I've had many many experiences in life that has given me the privilege of knowing there are things we cannot explain in this 3D reality.
So did your guardian angels help you in the crash? we'll never know, but quite possibly :-)0 -

Wrong accident, this is not the OP, this is someone who had an accident on a slippery road.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
When i wrote this yesterday i was under the influence of co codamol. Taking 2 of them every 4 hours is a bit strong for me and i spent most of yesterday sleeping :rotfl:i'm now only taking 1 of them. Whether or not guardian angels exist or not will remain unsolved. Personally i dont believe in them, but give me 2 co codamol and i do lol. Its a very comforting thought though thinking you have a guardian angel and i do have respect for people who believe they exist.
In other news the police caught the driver of the range rover and i now have their insurance details. They are fully liable for the accident so i should recive quite a nice payout for my car0
