I didn't fancy going head on with the range rover, that would most likely have been game over hitting head on at 60mph. I've just been going over it in my head all morning and questioning how it was not worse.

Exactly, YOU took evasive action and suffered lesser injuries as a result.

I'm glad you survived with relatively minor injuries but I don't believe in guardian angels.

I don't believe in ghosts either nor with mediums who claim to be in touch with dead people. smiley-rolleyes010.gif

I wish you a speedy recovery.

    I believe in guardian angels.

Like the OP - I walked out of a car accident, where the car rolled, and barely had a scratch (No stitches or anything required in my case!), but I believed in guardian angels even before this.

That many things have happened to me that could have been much worse, but I have came out of every situation OK, as has my brother and now my husband - we have used more than our fair share of luck, and long may it continue.

I'd love to say yes but don't know where mine has been these last few years,
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

He/she never even stopped. Luckily the lorry was fitted with cameras and everything is on film. I dont know if the police have him/her yet but hopefully they do. I need to claim off their insurance :rotfl:
  • I'd like to but I'm afraid I don't. The thing is, what about all the people who are not so lucky? Their lives are no less valid, many are good and innocent people who by rights should have a guardian angel too. I'm sure you are a nice person, but why should you be saved, yet so any others are not?

I think it was down to a) your quick reactions b.)pure luck. Like someone else said, if it had been head on, you probably wouldn't be here to tell the tale.

Having said all that I'm glad you are okay, and perhaps instead of focusing on having a guardian angel, however nice that sounds, spend you time thinking how grateful you are to be alive and give a bit of extra love to all the real live angels here on earth :A

Me neither. Nor any form of god.

Hope you are completely recovered soon.

Car safety, and a dose of luck too.

A tree in the wrong place, and it would be a different story....

Yes, definitely. My own mother watches over myself and my sister and there have been some really odd happenings (or signs) when I've been really really upset. I also believe that animals can be our guardian angels (I know, I hear the cuckoo noises LOL!) but I don't say this lightly, only based on things that have happened. Up to us each how we interpret things and whether we believe.

Hope they get that other driver - what a schmuck for not stopping - unfortunately it's drivers like that who really make me detest 4x4 drivers.
