It's a normal process and you might get 1p in the £1. Posted this yesterday on the main relevant page.

There's no such thing phones are basically a disposable item they aren't built to last 6 years.
The manufacturers offer a 2 year warrantee on all phones, many people have tried to claim after that for a repair / new phone, from what I'm aware very few have been successful
I didn't think so but as I said no harm in asking. Thanks0 -
I have a jump contract with phones 4 u. This had a two part payment. One for handset so I could upgrade my phone every 6 months and the other for my tariff with Vodafone. With phones for you going into administration I know my tariff with Vodafone is fine and ongoing as normal but I wanted to know what happens with the handset upgrade side of things? It a phones 4 u product and now thing to do with Vodafone (I've asked) so does this mean I can cancel payment for the ha set and just keep paying for tariff with Vodafone?
Please help0 -
Just because P4U have gone in to administration, that does not necessarily stop any legal obligations you may have with them.
I would assume that the official receiver is now responsible for any financial transactions that were made by P4U and are still active, so don't be surprised if they contact you should you decide you no longer want to pay for something that isn't officially yours yet.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
The contracts will presumably be sold on elsewhere. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I haven't read the 8 pages of posts, but, with Vodafone/EE effectively putting Phones 4U out of business and then snapping up some of their shops, it makes me wonder whether there could have been collusion - a serious crime under EU Competition Law.0

Perhaps you should do a little more reading. Vodafone and EE didn't "put P4U out of business".
Here is one article to start with:

My partner managed to speak to someone about his jump contract. They said the contract still stands, that it would cease after the contract runs out and that if he wanted too he could jump again. Er, no thanks!
i spoke to jump today and they stated that they cant do any upgrades on the jump contract.
and then said after 30 days of not being able to jump i can cancel the contract.0 -

Don't think so.
The company was half a billion in debt, and consequently could not offer terms that would persuade the networks to renew.0
