    Just a quick post to confirm I am just under 10% inside my annual target after three quarters of the year, despite a spendy wander around Waitflower at one point in Sept!


    Good luck everyone, remember, you will need a few extra pennies in two months time if you celebrate Christmas. Better then than now!

    I'm aiming for £40 for the whole month for groceries only. I have freezer and store cupboard stuff to use up and I'm looking for work.

    I busted last month by a pound. Going in for the same amount this month. Got some birthdays and travel, and am doing Slimming World, so trying to be extra extra good.:A

    Can I join this month please?

    I am aiming for £200 for 4 weeks starting today.I will need to do a shop today so its a bad start!Should only be about £20 or so I hope as its for stuff not available in Aldi
    NOT BUYING IT 2018!

    Consumerism is.....buying things you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't know and probably wouldn't like even if you did know them.

    I have had an expensive couple of months and need to re-focus on Old Styling ways as I have been abit lax recently.. I need to drop the spend gradually, so please can i join in and go for a £350 spend (1st to 31st October)

    Hi - just updating with spends so far - as almost half spent already! But we do probably have enough meals in to last - especially as we are away for a few days from Sunday and take that out of another budget!


    To those buying for two - we manage on £200 a month for everything - including a couple of bottles of wine each - though we don't have anything home grown unfortunately!!


    Have a frugal month and I'll catch up later on. x

    Hi all and thank you for this thread :)

    Please add me for £450again...Hard to believe only 2 more shopping months until Christmas !!! Would like to start adding one little item a week to my shopping so making it easier in December.

    Still sticking with my grocery delivery each week ... have now pulled it back to a Saturday. Top ups kept to a minimum ...we can dream :)
