You're right, an iPhone 6 isn't MoneySaving but we try to help people save money on anything they plan to buy, whether it's an iPhone or something else.
As Martin used to say when Concorde was still flying.. if you have to go by Concorde then buy your ticket at the best price you can
But there is nothing in this article that is helping anybody to get an iphone any cheaper, you have just quoted Apple's announcement prices.0 -

By the way, to any that are going to get the iPhone 6, either version, I have found that the Gold models retain more value as are more unique and thus more popular. I noticed a very difference in price on eBay sold listings for Gold iPhone 5s' than the other colours.
The colour doesn't bother me that much considering I'll be putting a case on to protect it anyway!
I sold my space grey 16GB 5s for £360 today, I could probably have sold it twice or three times with the interest (Gumtree advert) I got, but I do take good care of my phone and it still looked immaculate and was boxed with unused charger/data lead/headphones.
I don't think I would have got much more for a gold one, what prices have you seen them going for? (I'm considering a silver/white 6 next week).
Slumming it with a 5c until the 19th.

Hm I just had a quick look but it seems I cannot prove my theory, as prices are about the same now. I swear though I noticed it earlier in the year, I think it may have been due to a slight under stock of the golds and overstock of the other colours, so for a short time the price fluctuated of the gold version in used sales.
I'll be grabbing the gold, for something different. You getting 6 or 6+? I'm considering 6+ because of the increased battery life, we'll see if I'll be able to get used to the ridiculous size.. not as bad as those notes or whatever but still prefer a reasonable sized phone usually!
Agh wish I had a 5c to fall back on! I only have my 5s, or a really old Blackberry from like 2009 - and I don't know if I want to let myself suffer using that even for a short time..0 -

I'm 90% sure I'll be going for the 6, I had a Note 2 for a while and it was just too big for convenience, so for me I would assume the 6+ would feel similar in bulk.
I'm more in a quandary over capacity, seeing as how Apple have reduced the 64GB 6 to cheaper than the 32GB 5s, so 16GB or spend another £80 and get 64GB, hmmm, I almost bought 32GB last year...====0 -

I'm not used to a phone this size, but the improvements are mostly on the 6+ or at least they're a lot greater, battery life and such. Moving to iPhone 6 wont feel as much of a change I think. I'll buy it outright anyway, and see if I like it!
I have managed with 16GB models from 4s to 5s, but due to cheapness mainly haha, to be honest 32GB would have likely been the perfect size for me at this upgrade, but what I'm most likely to do is go for the 64. It's going to feel like a big change, then! Put all my Ricky Gervais podcasts AND music on it no problem with that size! :cool:0 -
Hi,
Does anyone know if you can pre-order one from the 12th for home delivery on the 19th, or do you have to get to a store to collect it?
Thanks0 -

Thanks d123, I've never got one at launch before, and won't be able to get to the store so having it delivered would be great.0

I'm way overdue an upgrade from Three and have been waiting for the iPhone 6. I work 9-6pm weekdays so won't be able to go to the Three shop to pre-order on Saturday.
My best bet is to try and pre-order on the Three website. Is this possible as an upgrade on the Three site or would it only work with new contracts.
