I have the same question - my minimum term with TT ends on 11 Nov. When do I call to cancel the services with TT and when do I call Sky to order the services (I understand I cannot specify a date with Sky... )
If you end your Talk Talk contract early you will be subject to an early termination charge. The Sky offer is an online one only you can't get it by phoning them. It also ends tonight.at 11.59pm.
• Does anybody know if you can order this deal from Sky now and set a later start date? My current phone & broadband contract does not run out till 20th October so I can not switch till then or I will be penalised

Thanks

Once you start the ball rolling it requires you to complete it all online or you dont qualify the vouchers. So if you then are going to try to renegotiate the start date over the phone you may well lose out.

Do you know if I will need to pay an early termination fee? I have already paid the bill for the last month of my contract.

See: Is there a charge for terminating my contract early?

"If you decide to cancel your services with TalkTalk while you are in contract early termination charges will apply. You can find out the exact charge by calling us on 0870 087 8038 "

• Deal is for sky 'newbies' which means that if you've had another providers broadband service for the last 10 years but have recently taken up sky tv, (like I have) then you're not a 'newbie' to sky broadband.
Not to worry MSE have blagged another great deal- £100 amazon voucher if you sign up to EE broadband and guess what........I'm already with EE for broadband so can't have £100 voucher either. Can't win......
It would be helpful if definition of sky broadband 'customer' was made clear at outset to save us spending hours attempting to sign up and then having to trawl through blogs to find out we don't actually qualify. What a waste of my valuable time.
• Please don't shoot me down for being dense about these things. I've signed up for this deal and had email confirming it all with engineer booked in for 26/9. Currently with Virgin spending £50 each month. Don't have a BT landline and thought that's why engineer was coming. Now friend says your internet with sky will be rubbish and you'll have to buy a freeview box for TV - children and I hardly watch tv so happy to buy cheap freeview box. Friend says freeview TV will not be available if weather is bad. My ex used to do all this! I was trying to reduce outgoings obviously. Advice appreciated I'm waiting. For cancellation rights says in email will be sent separately. Many thanks
• I think it is awful that MSE pretend to protect us from misleading selling then do it themselves with this sky deal.

I have already contacted affiliate windows who are supposed to provide the £92 voucher who have said that as a sky tv customer I don't qualify.

I stated the following
I feel as if the deal advertised is misleading for the following reasons

1. I am a new sky broadband customer

2. I purchased through the correct link

3. The text asks me to log into MySky account which you only have if you are a sky customer.

The response was dismissive so I will contact the advertising standards agency and see if they agree this deal was misleading, deliberate or otherwise.

Meanwhile Martin and his chums can keep putting money into Rupert Murdoch's back pocket for him!
• I wish I had never received the monthly email, but went along with the 'sounds to good to be true' link and as far as I know filled out all the answers correctly 11 days ago. I received a message back from Voucher Window (noreply@voucherwindow.com) saying 'voucher code accepted.
Contacted Sky today, and they have never heard of me..

I now am really pi55ed off, as I don't know if I am legally tied to the offer or not

If there are any experts on here PLEASE reply

What a waste of space this place is...

Martin Lewis, I !!!! you!
• I'm in exactly the same position. Received the email to say the code had been accepted, but heard NOTHING from Sky. Really annoyed as I feel misled, despite following all instructions :(
