Post #137 "Not yet. I keep saying how much I hate kids and things like, "this is why I don't want children" but not properly sat down set. Give me a few weeks - I'll update you when I have the chat."

I apologise - I failed to cut and past your post #137 which states your feelings very clearly.

Hahaha oops - twas a while ago, forgot I said that. Well like I say - helped raise younger siblings, don't actually hate them.

    I agree.

That article featured on wordpress is absolutely vile.

Is it supposed to be clever or funny?

    Because it isn't.

    .

Why is it vile? It's blooming well spot on! Yes a little shocking and probably not nice reading for those with children but spot on nonetheless.

sorry, not posting for the OP but just to say I read the article above, thought it was ridiculous and presumptuous. Also a result of his/her own unfortunate upbringing - who follows another person in their car to question them on their bumper sticker!
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

It is not spot-on - it is an emotive, unfactual, unpleasant rant.

As I keep hammering home - please respect the decisions of those who do show faith in the future by having children, just as your decision should be respected.

But please - just as I respect your conviction that you do not want children - do not denigrate those women who do choose to have children. They deserve your respect, just as much as you demand our respect.

This - too much hate from people that don't want children towards women that do. Maybe its misplaced hate and it should be directed towards people that are putting pressure on you to have children - not the rest of the world who are happily going about their business!

If people didn't have children who would look after you in your well appointed care lodge in the future?? (just a reference to OPs previous comment)

*sigh* and as said in another of my previous posts, people will always procreate. It's just more women need to realise they have a CHOICE not to.

yeah..sorry, but helping or empowering women to realise they have a choice is not the same as vilifying whole hordes of women who do want to - the fact that you thought that article was spot on was so insulting.
