Anothers neighbours space or another space on the road? That may be the solution. How narrow is the road that you need several shunts to get round?
just a normal space, but its where another neighbour normally parks. But what am i supposed to do now.
feel like i have to endanger both my own life and my eight year olds just to get out of my drive because of inconsiderate neighbours who think they are above the law.0 -

Thats your solution then, park in that space.0 -
Hi Op
We have a similar issue - some of our neighbours have 3/4 cars but only space for 1, plus, we're near an A road, so we get a lot of cars who park up for the day and car share off to work.
Had a few arguments with neighbours, but, as someone else has said, it isn't worth making yourself ill over.
As others have suggested, when you see the space free, make sure you park there.
We've also blocked people in by parking right behind/in front of them, but I understand you can't do that due the space further up being disabled.
We always make sure that when someone does that, we go out to mow the grass, trim bushes, and accidently, most of the cuttings go all over whatever car is parked there at the time, petty I know.
I've even left my bins half out on the road, which does help, but look awful.
It's rubbish & I really feel for you."Hope for the Best

If you consider that to be "endangering our lives" then you probably should just hand in your license.0 -

So your not actually blocked in, just makes things a little tricky pulling out?
Think you may be getting a little over dramatic.0 -
Unless you are in a situation the same, then please don't make assumptions. I have dealt with this since May and have put up with enough.
If you parked overhanging a corner on a main road, would you be alright? No you woudn't be, so a driveway should be similar.
I asked for opinions on what else I could do, not for people to make me out to be some overdramatic clown.
I paid out all monies for my driveway, I paid the Council to put this in, I went above board for everything.
I am not being 'overdramatic'. I am being conscious about what I have to do.
I have always been a careful driver and have never had a problem really at my driveway until my neighbour got the car.
As I say it is a one-way street and I am not prepared to damage my car in any form or manner due to an inconsiderable neighbour who deems it satisfactory to park over the driveway.0 -

Thank you for your advice, it's lovely to get some pleasant advice from someone who has actually went through a similar matter.0 -
I would simply park your car there.0
