Ah what a shame they're not the right size, such a waste here, perhaps i'll try selling them then in my bid to declutter :rotfl:

Another prime mover here! I think all those of us with an MSE username are the prime movers huh, I am amazed when I see couples on here both actively fighting debt together / making plans and on the same page. That must be lovely!

I very much relate to that :T

I guess I could technically be classed as being in an MSE couple. Him refuses to spend his own money when he can let others spend theirs.. :rotfl: - and his phone (my 6 year old iPhone 4) is finally dying. The solution? He would very much like it if I would either triple my contract cost or spend £600 on a new phone outright and give him my 2 year old 5 :rotfl: - he was very sweet about it of course. But now that I have ruled it out, he is humming and aaahing about even getting a new phone :p - his sole *bill* each month is a £7.90 mobile contract. How the !!!!less live eh.

granny its beautiful. Very jealous and glad you are having such a lovely time with DD. 21 degrees is more than hot enough for sunbathing!! ;) xx

Flying by as am waiting for washing cycle to end to pack last hoodie...
Very spendy day (haven't dared count but over £200:eek:, not all just for trip, all stuff that will be used after too) but everything necessary has been purchased for trip tomorrow, and almost ready for last checks ....4.30am start for me tomorrow as Ds has to be at school for 5.45, and we lose an hour tonight too :(....then nothing at all planned tomorrow, so might be a DVD day with DD:)

and might even be able to catch up with everyone's diaries, unless its sunny in which case I will be in the garden ;)

Thank you DFW321, Lilty, Brogden, Granny, for popping by :)

Just got back last night from mum and dad's. Went by myself as DS away, DH at work and DD working one of the days. Took Dad to a hospital apt yesterday, plus helped mum with hoovering cleaning, shopping, and sorting out paperwork. It was really pleasant, hard work (still exhausted) but feel so much better for having seen them again. A change of scene (no internet) is as good as a rest :)

Well done for helping parents like that
and for going internet free - wonderful feeling isnt it
that is why I have a week in wales every year - I can take the dogs and there is no phone internet or tv signal just a house phone for emergencies :)
    Emergency fund £10,000
    Several categories with savings in
    Cars, house maintenance, birthdays
Etc I have about 10 categories

Really happy to be debt free after being a compulsive spender

    Hello Aaleigha,
Yes its great! but to be honest I'm not particularly addicted as I do not have any data on my phone so when I am working I only have access to emails/internet when I get home. I still have my old £11/month contract because I haven't had time to sort out a new phone (screen has been broken for months - but it works not high priority. I badly need to sit down and catch up on budgeting though as have totally lost track.
Being away for the three days with parents was lovely :)
DD just got back - dashes off...

    Hello poppet

A change is indeed as good as a rest sometimes and you know how grateful your parents are :) you're a lovely daughter :)

I don't know what I would do without my phone data...!! sign of the times, I have two rechargeable batteries which take it in turns to go everywhere with me!!! :rotfl:

Hope the budgeting catch-up goes well. My budget isn't my friend ;) xx

    Thanks Lilty :)
A domestic weekend planned with a massivest spring clean ever (desperately needed). Siblings down at mum and dad's for Easter so I know they have company, will go next weekend instead.

DS back and had a wonderful time on school trip.
A couple of new projects have go ahead so a couple of months of financial stability. Haven't started on budget as house chaos is doing my head in. No-One else helps unless I ask and then only reluctantly and just before I am about to blow a fuse. Trying not to get cross about it, or have a tantrum, so will just get on and do it.
Major de-clutter required re clothes. I am working out (as in not at home - not exercise!) so much now I desperately need new work clothes - have been wearing the same few skirts and tops - and at the end of each week am struggling to find things. All three pairs of shoes (court/ankle boots and boots) desperate need of re-heeling, and/or replacing - last bought 3 years ago so they are past their sell by date:(

    Happy Easter Everyone :)

Hope its full of rainbows and chocolate and unicorn bunnies:D
A very grey day here, but garden starting to burst with colour - yellow pink orange and purple and green of course :)

    Good Morning Noah...!

I have a very similar situation with work clothes and even dd pointed out the other day.. mum you have a hole in your top....oops.. think I need to bite the bullet and take a trip to primani or mattalan.. M & S just isn't in my budget.. although I do have a gift card which dd gave me for mothers day so may try there as well...

Good luck with your Easter spring clean.. I have a head cold so can't see much more than the normal cleaning taking place here.. like you, no one else ever joins in..

Hope you get to do some R & R over the weekend...
