NOA
I think you need some time out
You are taking this on your shoulders with very little support
Think about who in real life knows the whole situation can you do an overnight stay with them just to give you a short but seemingly short break
I am not saying you can't cope, obviously you are doing so
But a break will just give you a time to switch off so you can comeback stronger
Or on a nice day pack your lunch take a book and sit somewhere quiet for lunch
I really feel for you but you need support you are working so hard to pull the family together and beat this but remember to breathe

Noa, sounds stressful and tiring the next week. I hope it goes by quickly for you and the money will be worth it (I hope!)
If you still have to buy a waterproof jacket let me know my son needed one for a trip he went on a few years ago and I bought him it (with waterproof trousers) and he never used them. They are a mens size small I think (he was around 13/14 when I got them). You can have them if you still need them.
Spring equinox today
that must mean flowers, green trees, blossom and sunshine are on their way...which cheers everyone up. Although you wouldn't believe it if you were to look out of my window this morning. Very grey here!
Take care of you

Exhausted with a manic weekend ahead.
Working much of the weekend on top of usual school taxi service , also hosting 2 boys for DS school Rugby tour up after for Saturday night. DD coming home tomorrow pm. Working again Sunday pm. Then full week next week marking.
Came home tonight, washed rugby kit for tomorrow's match, uniform washed and drying. Bedroom ready for the 2 boys staying Saturday night. bathroom cleaned. Will buy pizzas for tomorrow pm as will be too tired to cook.
Another run in with OH. So hard to break the cycle. From the outside looking in it looks like I have a model family. From the inside looking out, sometimes it feels so lonely. Am keeping myself busy and doing what I can and in no way ready to throw in the towel, but find myself being dragged down again. Going to bed to lie awake another night as need to have my fun face on tomorrow. As soon as the washing machine cycle stops.
Am going to keep next weekend totally free to do Nothing but be in the garden.
Have a super lovely weekend everyone.

Hoping things went well with the visitors and the manic weekend
So many people who have diaries on here are taking too much on themselves which includes us
Lots of us have OH's and family too and it seems impossible to get everybody singing from the same hymn sheet so to speak.Whilst I am blamed 100% for 'Brogden's Debt Disaster,' I am never allowed to discuss basic aims, targets or plans to improve the position because its always 'I haven't got time now / I've just got up / I'm too tired / I'm watching this program' or often the notion is turned on me with an exocet missile attached
.
All of this leads me to considering the best thing to do myself and putting it into action myself - often mentioning it to people on this board! We used to criticise other couples in the wider family for 'non-communication' but the self same situation exists here and it is that which causes me feelings of loneliness
I don't know if that rings true with you......girls are different from boys after all
!!
Whatever you are feeling NOAh you are certainly one of millions and I'm not sure if that thought might cheer you up a bit
. The other thing is.....in a couple there is always one who is the prime mover and in this place its male
Maybe in NOAh Mansions its female
. Being the prime mover can be time consuming and tiring but at least the stress levels reduce when we know something is getting done so often its best to just get on with 'prime moving.' Almost forgot to say.... insisting on a little bit of time for a rest of course too
Come and talk to us shortly

So sorry things are so tough at the moment my dear NOA. Wise words from Mr B. It's so hard being alone in a relationship, a feeling I too know too well. All we can do is bolster each other and hope that when finances are running smoother things at home get better too.
Lots of love & hugs
Hope your manic fortnight doesn't take too much out of you

Another quick visit as am missing MSEland.
Just wanted to say thank you for your lovely posts Lilt, Aaleigha, DFW321, Brogden, Granny......
all love and hugs and kisses gratefully accepted
Will reply properly at the weekend, have emailed to say that I am not available for part time fun job this coming weekend or over long Easter weekend, not even to be on call.:)
I have survived manic weekend and plodding along, and as long as I don't stop I know I can keep going.....
Lots of family ups and downs, everyone very stress with everyone else. Nicest thing at the moment is my DD being home and she knows how to diffuse the situation
Work is going to be full time in May and June, and I think I can work as much as I want to in July and August.
Have lots of stuff to post, but will type in Word first rather than it all come out in a splurge.
Hope all well with all in MSEland
LOts and lots of Love

Dear DFW321,
That's so lovely of you to offer the waterproofs for DS's trip -it brought a tear to my eye, so kind and generous of you to offer. Sorry I haven't replied sooner. Sadly my DS is a mens size L now, and some things we buy XL> hoodies as he likes them baggy. I have a mad Saturday coming up but intend to do everything in one bash. Walking boots are sorted, and I will have to go to an outdoor shop for the waterproofs.
Spring is cheering me - flowering current bushes have pink buds almost open..... blossom out in the city (warmer there than here!)
Though the marking work is in a windowless room:(
Love n hugs

Still manic your way then lovely.
Try to find some time for you in all this.
Am happy to see the work has evened out for a couple of months. Nice to have a bit of stability!
I am interested in this Prime Mover thing Brogden. Methinks I am definitely the prime mover in this household. If I am not doing it it isn't getting done
Hope you manage a lovely calm weekend NOA. Be kind to you. Lots of love and hugs! xxx

Ah what a shame they're not the right size, such a waste here, perhaps i'll try selling them then in my bid to declutter :rotfl:
Another prime mover here! I think all those of us with an MSE username are the prime movers huh, I am amazed when I see couples on here both actively fighting debt together / making plans and on the same page.
