    Thank you Brizzle :)
Look  forward to catching up - hope all is well with you?
Today has been a work day but Internet has been frustratingly slow. Another classic BT mess-up saga as we were meant to get fibre upgrade last week, it didn't happen as calling to correct our address /name resulted in order cancellation, which was meant to be reinstated but wasn't, which was rescheduled for today, but engineer knocked on door this morning to inform us he wasn't allowed to come into the house to complete the installation.....Arrghh!!!!

Well.......Been absent for just over a year.
What can I say? Not sure if everyone I knew is still posting around?  I've just managed to retrieve passwords and managed to get back in after an hour of trying!
Not really sure where to start but we are still here and still surviving. If I can get my head round the new look i'll try and see if I can catch up the various threads I connected with.
    Hope everyone is doing Ok

Welcome back NOA. :) The new look forum takes a bit of getting used to and everyone still misses the original emojis but it's worth the effort.

Welcome back NOA. I have recently returned to MSE as well and I am trying to get back into my former money-savvy mindset. Hope all is well with you and yours.

    Many months later..... Hello again!
Thank you @brizzlegirl @Fortune_Smiles @dawnybabes @PiggyBankShaker @Cherryfudge @grannyx2 for your messages above - I have missed everyone and the support here.
It's been so long I really don't know where to start - I really hope everyone is doing OK, eventually will try and catch up with those i knew and followed for several years. I've often thought of you. Never thought this would  have dragged on so long, it's hard to keep spirits up and I'm not good at posting when down.

    Notes on where we are:
    1) I've stuck to the job, it's consistent income, even though I get so frustrated still.
    2) OH got made redundant half way through first lockdown, but found another job fairly quickly (less money) but we didn't flounder and working from home with less travel meant we saved elsewhere.
    3) DD is still working and has been home this Christmas, doing well at work, but feeling a bit down with other things.
    4) DS is in final year (!!), again doing well but also fed up with life as it is now, will stay on to do MA most likely.
    5) Mum now often comes to stay for 2-3 weeks at a time (was here for 4 months at the beginning of this year during)
    6) Health not been great - a slipped disc restricted my mobility for 8-9 months but has improved since the summer so feeling better now. Have learnt to pace things a bit better!
    7) Fairly stable on money side of things - have kept on top of all bills - debt still there but will try and get back to spread sheet to see exactly where we are - some of the creditors keep sending discount offers to partially settle.

Hope to try and map next 3 years to when mortgage term ends.
Will try and get back into keeping account on here to help me :)
