Treat it as a lesson learnt: next time read all the terms and conditions, and research thoroughly before making your booking.0

If this is the way you normally speak to people, it's no wonder you've got nothing better to do than sit behind the safety of your computer screen at midnight and insult someone you don't even know.0 -
It's not a ripoff, it's not a scam, it's merely how the modern airline industry is going.
Here's a clue. It's pretty expensive to fly a plane to and from Faro, and to keep the prices at a reasonable level, they need to control their costs. One way of doing that is thoroughly discouraging people from taking extra baggage.
Perhaps you were skipping school on the day that basic economics was taught. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -

Forget about it. It's clear that the issue is that he booked with Expedia and not direct with Ryanair.
He's learned from that mistake.0 -

Expedia should not have sold that flight, they are breaking t&cs0 -

It isn't insulting - it is the truth, and you don't like it.
I also don't use my computer as some kind of safety barrier - I tell the truth, even if it hurts, because it is the right thing to do.
Next time, read the T&Cs, or pay more to fly with another company. It really is that simple.0 -
:)Would you wear it on a flight? Inventor unveils outsize jacket to beat budget airline luggage charges. It's hardly the most stylish of in-flight outfits. But this strange-looking jacket could save its wearer thousands of pounds, money that would otherwise have gone to budget airlines such as Ryanair or EasyJet.
Or keep it in your hand luggage, just in case you go over the weight limit, don't get caught out by excess charges by any airline, not just Budget that rip you off:question:0 -
Here's what the link above says about booking Ryanair flight's with 3rd parties:Saint_Chris wrote: »http://www.ryanair.com/en/terms-of-use/

Actually, Rory, you're lucky that unexpected baggage charges are the only thing you're complaining about.2. Exclusive online distribution channel. This website is the only website authorised to sell Ryanair flights, whether on their own or as part of a package. Price comparison websites may apply to enter into a written Licence Agreement with Ryanair, which permits such websites to access Ryanair’s price, flight and timetable information for the sole purpose of price comparison.
Maybe you're not the sort of idiot who expects to travel for nothing - but I would question your common sense in booking Ryanair flights with a 3rd party.Rory_the_Filmmaker wrote: »I'm not some sort of idiot who expects to travel for nothing, but then again, it's not my fault that Ryanair want to conceal all the extra fees until way into the booking so it's practically too late to back out.
Trotting this ridiculous accusation out because you got little sympathy just makes you look silly.Rory_the_Filmmaker wrote: »You clearly all work for Ryanair, or if you don't, you obviously have strange ideas about VFM.0 -
Not a fan of Ryanair but you can't beat there prices. It's only muppets that don't follow the t & c's that seem to have an issue. Our recent trip cost less than £400 for 3 to fly out / 6 back. Nearest I could get with Ba was over a grand and 200 miles further away.
Though to correct one point first flew Ryanair in the mid 80's ltn-dub and at that point before the eu changes that allowed Ryanair & easy jet to do what they do now bags where included. The futures bright the future is Ginger0 -

British Airways charge extra for checked luggage on many of their routes.Rory_the_Filmmaker wrote: »I'm not some sort of idiot who expects to travel for nothing.
The jokes just write themselves at this point.
Expedia makes Ryanair's baggage fees quite clear during the booking process by the way so that excuse is out the window.0
