This is daylight robbery.
Ryanair are robbers.
How can they charge £40 for 20kg of baggage in both the outbound and return flights?
It makes me want to spit blood.
Since when have they implemented this scheming, money grabbing tactic? Is there a way around it? What are your experiences?

They have always charged for hold luggage, if you don't want to pay it use an airline that charges for hold luggage in the full price whether you use it or not, or take a smaller case.0

There are plenty of airlines that do not include baggage in their fares and charge for it separately (I don't believe Ryanair has ever included baggage) - always worth doing a comparison between the "low cost" carriers and the full service airlines, sometimes by the time you factor in baggage, checkin fees, reserving seats etc the low cost airlines can be more expensive than the others0

Spiritair in the US charge you for putting luggage in the overhead locker.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Of course there's a way round it.
Take only hand luggage.
Book 15kg instead of 20kg.
Book with an alternative carrier.
Unsure where your £40 has come from.
On Ryanair website, the only £40 fee for 20kg I can see is the one for first bag low season purchased at airport or call centre.
The same 'extra' purchased online is £25 so that's another way you can get round it.0 -

You might want to see a doctor about that.0 -
Another one who feels that he should be able to fly all over the world for nothing, I see.
If you don't like it "Rory", then fly with someone else. Leave Ryanair for those that can actually afford to fly. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -
Some of the complaints people write just makes my mind boggle. I can only imagine the sort of nonsense people working in customer services have to listen to on a regular basis.0

77 flights and counting with Ryanair.
Just make sure I do everything that keeps it to a minimum that suits my trip before I click agree with T&C box.
