When is summer coming? Get up-bright sunshine. Start bath-bright sunshine. Get in bath-black clouds, drizzle. Go to water greenhouse-torrential rain, shirt and trousers soaked through. Get home-sunshine. Can't work out if I'm coming or going!

Lovely sunny day here at mo, still havent done my shopping list:o get to it in a mo.

Just got off the phone to a local reporter, i emailed them last week with regards as to putting an article in about my sponsered slim and they are:eek:

So this article is going to raise awareness of kids with type 1, lack of diabetes uk support;) lack of support groups in the area, so excited but nervous at the same time :rotfl:

Also phoned aarons diabetes nurse and she is well chuffed at this, so next time we are due at clinic she has told me to bring in my sponsership forms and she will sponsor me:j

    Afternoon all :hello:

Haven't posted yet as I've been fairly busy this morning. The lack of routine in the holidays is great in one way but it does nothing for my cleaning schedule. :o

But I've managed to bathe both girls, make a cooked breakfast, clean the kitchen (including 3 cupboards), empty DW, make beds, hoover, wash the floors and clean the bathroom. The washing machine has started working by some miracle so the third load is on the line and I'm praying that the forecast of no rain is to be believed. All that and a long chat to Pink on the phone. :D

Plans for the rest of the day are to tackle the girls room (again) and start clearing the office. Since we got the laptop it has only been used as a dumping ground for the ironing so I've managed to get a bed from freecycle and I will have a spare room again. :j

Promised the girls the cinema but they want to wait until this evening so OH can come too so that scuppers tea a bit but I will try to do it early. Found some pork chops in the freezer and some hm brocoli cheese so it will be that with spuds, cabbage and swedes (from the garden)

    Welcome back Nelski

    Hope you're feeling better Queenie

and.......... You're fab JackieO. I wish I had half your determination.

Well done Kyle on the fundraising. People do tend to forget about type 1 these days with all the publicity about type 2 don't they?

Enjoy the rest of your day folks.

    Afternoon all,
First time in joining the daily thread.
It is raining cats and dogs here at the moment, i'm feeling sorry for my daughter as it is supposed to be her fun sports day and it will have been canceled, she was sooo looking forward to it.
Im feeling down in the dumps in general, i was up being sick all last night and feel pretty crappy today. Im hoping it is just a 24 hour thing.
I have done no cleaning or infact anything in the house at all.
I need a serious kick up the behind to get myself motivated.
Hope the rest of you are having a better day.

    Leigh xx

    Hello Everyone

Not a good day - back at work for the first time since being sick. They're drawing up a new contract for me, owing to the fact my role in the station has changed

Also bf has resurfaced and has stated he wants a break. Think it's the end though going by the way we're talking to each other!!!! Still it's good to have an argument from time to time!!!:rotfl:

    Oh well, such is life.

So how is everyone? I've finally started my Christmas shopping. Got about 5 things - all on sale:T

    Hi Heavenleigh

put the kettle on and have a read of the OS boards - packed with motivating things to do if you want to do them now, or make a list of things to do when you feel up to it.......

On a personal front, a quick lift is to clean the sink - a la Flylady stuff. The other one I have learned from these pages is the 37 fling boogie......... Put on some funky music - M People does it for me - and fling 37 things into a binliner to put in the bin! Works EVERY time.....

    Other than that, just flop.........
