Fed up with Morrisons

I started to cut back on visiting Morrisons after I asked for cashback and I forgot to take it, the cashier either forgot to give it to me or held it back but when I called the store as I was not close by, they refused to look into it for me. I had no evidence the cashback had not been taken but refused to look back on their CCTV systems and said they wouldn't honour the cashback if I went back into the store.
If that isn't poor customer service then I don't know what is.
Just ridiculous ..this was your fault for not taking the cash back or not asking for it if it was not given.
Thats like walking into a supermarket a day later and saying - you didn't give me the correct change yeaterday
This is not Morrisons fault at all ! If they agreed to this I think many shoppers would be going in and saying " You forgot to give me my £100 cash back yesterday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Maybe you need to do a shift before you post such total c**p!
My OH is a checkout supervisor at Morrisons, she is run off her feet every shift , for the whole shift, she comes home some days and tells me in an 8 hours shift she hasn't even had a break, sometimes not even lunch ...:mad:0 -

I have picked up the odd thing at Sainsburys or Asda which have a hole in the packaging and their staff are more than willing to walk to where the product is and swap it.
Attend to you ? what did you expect? how did it get caught in the prongs? The staff were probably extremely busy at the time - did you ask for assistance?:(0 -
Yesterday - for the first time in 3 months, I decided to give morrisons one more chance - I needed a bottle of lemonade - but the queues were absolutely stupid - going way up the aisles - with only 1/4 of the tills open and staff standing around chattering - absolutely disgusting
Also - no reply to my previous email to either CS or the MD !!0 -

I'm not talking crap. First hand experience. Also it is her own fault for not taking her breaks if she is entitled to them.0 -

There's loads of tills in a Supermarket, 5 could need assistance at the same time. I don't see how it would work if the checkout supervisor was never actually at the checkouts because they are having to walk backwards and forwards around the store.
Great post - totally correct0 -
And I ALWAYS check my receipts in Morrisons- I'd say about 25% of the time there is a mistake. It has put me off shopping with them as it is a pain to have to queue for a refund.0

Morrisons near me , 1 is 8 minutes drive away the other about 12 .
The nearest at Elland has a stinking butchers and fish counter , I have seen the butcher take out of date items off the shelf and re package with a new date instead of reducing .
Staff are lazy , unhelpful and on every occasion I have been overcharged !
They are Yorkshires own supermarket and as a Yorkshireman I am ashamed .No wonder they are going down the drain .
Time to bring Ken Morrison out of retirement to kick some !!!! !0 -

I don't believe you have first hand experience whatsoever at all.
If so what is it? Because seriously if really think a checkout supervisor running up and down the isles basically being pretty much constantly unavailable at the checkouts is an efficient way of doing things then I don't understand. It's like you must be on drugs to think that could actually work!0 -

TBH this post stinks more than any fish counter at Morrisons ......I don't think i've every been to a fish counter that doesn't stink :rotfl: ...also Wow! wasn't it perfect timing that you were there to observe that butcher commit the meat crime.....I do however agree with you on the fact that Ken Morrison needs to come out of retirement that bit of the post you were talking sense (from a fellow Yorkshireman!)0
