The only chain where I find a consistently bad attitude is Tesco - though my local Asda can be pretty bad, at times. All the rest seem much of a muchness with Morrisons about the same as the rest.

I started to cut back on visiting Morrisons after I asked for cashback and I forgot to take it........

Sorry, but how exactly is it Morrisons fault that YOU forgot to pick up your cash back?

After paying for your goods and asking for cash back, it should have been handed to you with your receipt. If you didn't get it, then the cashier obviously forgot to give it to you, and you could have asked for it there and then. But how could you forget asking for the money within the space of a few seconds? How did you not notice it wasn't with the receipt?

Very easily, I once bought a couple of stamps and once paid and out of the shop, didn't realise until I got home that the cashier hadn't given me the stamps, it is easy to get distracted at checkout you know! I called the store and when they checked the till, they had 2 stamps too many, so arranged to leave them at customer service desk for me, easy done.

I like morrisons but hate the new layout. We have had it for over a year now at our local but I still can't get used to it. No one else seems to like it either. Having said that, I find it good value for fruit and veg and love their Market Street style fish, bread and meat sections.

I think its the store managers who are to blame, have heard they treat their staff like slaves

I still cannot forget the time I was at a Morrisons self scan buying yoghurts. One spilt on the bag holder prongs. Got caked in yoghurt. I asked three colleagues could they get me a yoghurt. Not one was interested. Not one asked me if I was alright, give me something to mop up.

The toilets are opposite self scan. I did the best to remove the excess yoghurt from my clothes. I also used the loo as well. I left the toilets about 6-7 mins later and my shopping, yoghurt on the floor was still there. Plus there were about 10 people queuing. I did not buy my shopping as a protest about my lack of customer service.

My friend was in Sainburys earlier this year. A bottle of red wine was dropped and it splashed on her pale coloured coat. Sainsburys gave her money to pay for a new coat. It did cost my friend £100.

I know yoghurt does not stain like red wine does, but I got no verbal communication from Morrisons.

They don't seem to have very good discipline of their staff, they always have to do multiple calls to get them to go to checkouts at the start of their shifts.

When I worked at Sainsburys we would get a rollocking if we were late getting to the checkouts to start our shifts.

They never open the basket checkouts now either, expecting you to either queue up behind people doing their big shop or use the 1 self checkout that hasn't managed to self destruct yet that day.
