  • Fingers crossed for DS2 - is he back yet Dusty?

Just about to have brunch - at weigh in lost 3lbs and now got 2st award - in 16 weeks. It must have been all the hard work and walking last week because the food and cakes certainly didn't help!!!

Will do double HHC at 2pm as have calls and banking to do first.

Yay he passed, third time lucky.

DS1's phone interview went well so hopefully he'll get a face to face next week.

Off to the cricket now to see how DS3 is doing. Flying - washing on the line and about to put DW on.

I am looking into an energy monitor though. Anyone have one? My gas usage is decreasing year on year but my electric is increasing.
We had a free one courtesy of the fuel company, but we don't use it. We tried it for a while, but I found I was refusing to switch things on when I really needed them while I was in on my own, because I felt guilty if I saw any energy usage.:( It's just the sort of person I am, I suppose. There's only the two of us living here, and we don't leave things on when we're not using them, switch off at the wall and all that, so really the only purpose it would serve is to make me feel I have to sit and suffer when there's equipment I could have on and not suffer, iyswim.

Well done DS1 also; hope the face-to-face interview is forthcoming.:o

Home from cricket, DS3 very happy (4 maiden overs and 2 wickets so giving away no runs at all) with his performance as this is the highest level team of the many he plays for.

DW emptied, mogs fed washing in.

Just having a cuppa then I'm going to do HH flying before thinking about starting dinner.

    Evening!

Not long been home, phew. Just reheated some leftovers and made a cuppa. Had my manicure done on the way home. Fingernails look like jelly beans :D

My main job tonight will be to get the bins out and bag up some bits for the charity shop.

Then if I have any steam left - been out of the house for 12hrs - I will get the vac out and start the living room.

Need to send my mum a list of shopping, we are going back to the caravan tomorrow night. So I won't be doing a lot of flying...

    Yawn.
