Well done both master dustys, I bet DS 2 is over the moon now!
LW, how did Mr LW get on, wasn't he due to have his wound check done today?
Piggers, let me guess, you've just left the leg, haven't you?!
Um, forgot to say Happy Birthday to Mr Dusty.
Well, we had a good walk with lots of geocaching today. Just about to have tea, it's just taking ages to cook.
Have managed to get the washing up done and wiped down the sides, wasn't able to do it this morning as I ran out of washing up liquid. And I've got DH to go and get carrots as I forgot to pick them up for tea (so we have carrot less mbw but I can put them into the spare I've made!) AND then, I realise I haven't got marge BUT DH has left his phone at home!

I need to tackle room of doom. Urgently.
So what I have done is cleaned the hallway and stairs. Much amused by my deferring cleaning a room by cleaning elsewhere :rotfl:
Am adding another item to the broken-but-am-wringing-the last-penny-out -of it list. The vertical blind I have at my front door is on it's last legs; front door gets full sun/heat and the plastic is crumbling. I have had to take one strip down. I cannot afford to replace and I have decided I will keep it for now. The phone can not longer hang on the wall because the bit that holds the receiver on has broken - other than that it works fine.
Other phones are also no good; answering machine gave up the ghost some while back (was set of 4 with a base unit, the one in DS's room has been taken to work for play purposes - and they were s/h off my sister).
Still (Pollyanna moment) I will have an efficient upright vacuum very soon!

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Whoever has my GUAG I really need it back for tomorrow please, pretty please.
Sorted the pan drawer as i needed something from the bottom, that is it. Sausages cooking for the boys.
I have a large stye comng up on my eyelid which annoyingly is sorer when I close my eyes and I so need a good night's sleep.
Need to clean out neighbours rabbits so wheelie bins can be emptied tomorrow, don't fancy that, there is a reason I don't have pets with cages. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all - my GUAG is somewhere with Dusty's as I have done very very little today!!!
Did manage to go to steak night to celebrate my weight loss and avoided the pudding but not the wine:eek:. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!!!! and by that I mean flying -wise!!July 16 £95/£200

Well done to your boys Dusty x
Hope Mr LW is recovering.
Not a lot of flying here. 2xwm, ground floor henried, bathroom S&s
DS1 taken to eye hospital via swim pool where he is booked on a course next week. I have to take him but we are trying independent travel for the journey home so I don't have to drag ds2 on the 2 trips per day.
Ds2 had lots of meltdowns and crying episodes today. He has a hospital appointment on Friday to discuss a further diagnosis and treatment plan.
Thursday is results day for ds1 OS levels so things are getting tense around here. Good luck to any of your young people awaiting results.0 -

Well done to Dusty's DS1 on the job interview, DS2 on the driving test and DS3 on the cricket match :T :T :T
Well done JTTOU on your weight loss - me too! :T
Had a very busy morning and cleaned the whole house before going out to SW. Then went into B'ham by rain to meet brother and s-i-l and bring them out here: all connections were on time and short, so we were home at 3:00 pm. After a well-earned cuppa for all of us, DH took us for a nice drive up Clent Hill to see the view, and we watched a heavy downpour crossing the Black Country. We got caught in it on the way home, but our garden was almost dry! Cooked a nice tea and have spent all evening just chatting and looking at photos of how the house was when we bought it (brother and s-i-l were very complimentary about the work we'd had done, and after all my efforst everything is sparkling and lovely). DH went to model railway club and brought me a large bunch of flowers from MrT when he came home: reduced from £5 to 75p and beautiful apart from one spray of chrysanths :money:
Tomorrow we are going on the heritage railway and having bacon sarnies for lunch in the railway cafeThe evening will be spent watching GBBO :j I could get used to being a lady of leisure! (for 4 days, anyway...)
Plenty of spoons on the side for those who need them x0 -
Evening all
Well done to Dusty's young peoples :T bet you chuffed eh
Sending out a general shower of GUAG and hope it helps. Think I'm on a bit of a 'high' atm so will probably be begging for some back at the end of the week :rotfl: Don't think the sudden change in weather to dismal helps does it
