Just been told by Live Chat that it's for members of over 10 years!

Then at least three of my accounts should be eligible, nothing shown up here though.

I never got one either. Dont see reason why they giving some vouchers to people at whim and not other unless its to those that maybe complained. If they doing it at a whim surely that will only alienate some customers who didnt get one. If they got free money to give away better to make a donation to charity and publicise it

Seems ebay are telling people different things. A few people with old accounts have nothing though so it's certainly not just going to people with accounts of 10 years+.

    Yay got £20

    :j:beer::T

Account opened 2009 - so 10 year rule poppycock.

"Thank you for your patience during the recent password reset issue. As a valued customer ....... "

Yeah yeah - just give me the money.

Got till 3rd July to spend it.

Out of all my accounts - its the only one ive not used since the reset. So maybe its for those they think they have lost - and active users won't get it?

There is a huge thread on the PS boards.

You can check your account in the My Ebay menu, it should be the last item on the menu.

The payments are ranging from nothing to....

    100 Nectar Points
    500 Nectar Points
    200 Free Listings
    £20
    $20
    £75

It seems random. Some have said CS say it is for accounts over 10 years, that isn't true. Some have said it's not for businesses, that isn't true either. Some have had £75 on more than one account. It does seem totally pot luck. But it is courting controversy and bad feeling.

Got the 500 Nectar points (equates to £2.50) as being a "valued customer" and to "express their gratitude". No mention of password fiasco though so might not be related?

Says till the 3rd July but not sure if that simply to add them to Nectar account or to actually use them. Would have preferred £75 but can't complain :D
