See that is where facebook is a very useful tool in seeing what a persons views truly are and also how influenced by others they are.jackieblack wrote: »Ah, well that's where we differ
It doesn't surprise me that you see things like that on Facebook.
One on the many reasons I don't 'do' Facebook
I like you would never have thought people i knew could have views like that.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
OH has banned me from watching those kinds of programes because a) he fears I'll through something at the TV and break it and b) I'm going to kill myself with either a heart attack or an aneurysm because he reckons my blood pressure must go through the roof!
I did catch a couple of minutes while channel hopping and even that was enough.First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -

Do you honestly believe that on Facebook you are seeing what a persons views truly are and also how influenced by others they are?
You don't think that they could be being deliberately provocative in an attention-seeking attempt to collect 'like's from the hundreds/thousands of acquaintances/strangers they count as 'friends'?Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
It was the coke being poured in to the babies bottle and the smoking whilst holding the baby that really worried me. No wonder we have so many obese people in the country if parents are ignorant enough to think that is a good beverage for a child.
Also they moan about not having enough money but yet they are eating absolute crap for their tea, I think this and many other sites prove that you can cook healthily for not much money. But I guess healthy food doesn't have the same appeal than chicken nuggets and chipsNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Really? You want the government to run your life for you? No wonder we have a nanny state.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You make it sound like i'm the sole reason we have a 'nanny state'...Well thats if we did, and we don't so...not worth getting your knickers in a twist for!
Wanting to protect babies and children from lungs full of second hand smoke is not something that should turn into a political battle...0 -
Because you are talking about handing over responsibility for your life and decisions to the government. What about banning drinking? Junk food? Eating salt & sugar? Watching too much TV? Anything else someone else decides isn't good for you? Make the decisions yourself and take responsibility for your own actions.
Why do you feel the need to turn this into some sort of goverment hate debate....i made an off the cuff remark about banning smoking in homes where there are children...why you feel the need to keep going on about the 'goverment' i have no idea! The goverment never said it, i did!0 -

The family with the mother blowing smoke all over the baby were eating Maccies...must cost a blumin fortune, not saying they should'nt be buying it because it is tax payers money etc..but the money they must of wasted on that would most probably make a weeks worth of meals for them all.0 -
Job done...You will not be bothered next time they announce welfare cuts...But it will yet again be the sick and disabled who are on the receiving end....
This is why these programmes are on...not for your entertainment but to get you angry...And tar all with the brush..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Yes I do.jackieblack wrote: »Do you honestly believe that on Facebook you are seeing what a persons views truly are and also how influenced by others they are?
