just read this thread and couldnt help but laugh.. this guy is a dreamer... no one who has half a brain would comtemplate doing what he has done. lives in the middle of nowhere !! she should have been picking you up or meeting you at a pub. 42 year old.. if this is infact true she obviously is just after the sex from a younger guy... both you and her have been irresponsible....

There are people who are in age gap relationships and they work.
Its the jumping into bed with someone you barely know without using protection and asking someone over to your home on the first date, its not exactly safe, they could both have had more to worry about than the lack of a rubber, not that I think there's any excuse for that either.

The thing is, when someone posts looking for support on social anxiety and then comes on bragging about how he shagged this older women he already stood up 3 times, some people will just lose patience and not support the threads of his that need supporting.

Assuming it is real and not a huge wind up.

I agree that it was irresponsible. I shouls have taken condoms and she should have suggested it, but In the heat of the moment it happened.

Okay, I understand how they may have come across as insulting, but after reflecting I was a bit annoyed about everything last night and paranoid about having an infection. I text her to say we should have used protection last night and does she have anything I need to worry about, to which she said of course not ans said she gets regular check ups, which makes her sound easy now. I do like her, but one minute she is telling me she wants something serious and now this, so I have no idea what to think.

Ok, I really do think you need to take a step back and think how the way you speak about women comes across?

If someone said to me they got regular STI checks... I would think they give it away and sleep around.

I think you will have to get checked, again not just now, but you have to allow for an incubation period and go again in about 3-6 months, providing you don't go bare back with some other random bird you find who offers it out to any Tom D!ck or Harry.

There are people out there who purposely sleep around when they are riddled with VD and willingly spread their infections.
