I'm absolutely pooped.

I have spent the whole of today swapping over bedrooms and its mostly done. Just a few bits and bobs to sort out. I also need to get a new blind for the little ones room too.

I need to spend tomorrow sorting the rest of the house as its very dishevelled.:o Its really getting on my nerves. Then later I need to collect my new to me car. I'm looking forward to it as it would be faster to walk some times than use my current one.

Its been a nice day today. A bit of sun, but for the past hour its been showery and decidedly chilly. I almost feel like I do when heading into autumn. I love autumn but it makes me want to hibernate under layers with a hot chocolate. Im not putting any heating on though. I hope we do get a bit of nice summer first.

Right off to get the small one to bed then a nice, relaxing night.

Oops, a bit of a spendy day. I had to order the little ones birthday present as I still hasn't got it done yet. Never mind its done now.

One bonus is that yesterday I managed to get the months shopping done for £90. I had a lot left from last month. I may have to do a little bit of top up shopping later in the month but that's covered with the budget.

I have to go and bank my cheque tomorrow. I just want it to be cleared as soon as possible so I can throw it at the debts. I'm feeling quite desperate to get them done and dusted.

It's going to be hard to get debt free by the end of October but I'm going to try my hardest to get there. It would mean the world to me to finally have some freedom and piece of mind.

Today has been fairly productive if not a bit speedy.

Back to work tomorrow. I shouldn't grumble as I break up in six weeks for the summer but I'm going to miss my boy. I'm a real home bird at heart. It's money and it gets me closer to being debt free but.........

I'm ever so confused tonight. Mind you I'm confused most of the time.;)

Today I paid off £2400 worth of debt.:j It's been ever so nice seeing all that money in my account for the week and I was so tempted to stick it in a savings account but that would have been stupid. Why pay all that interest with money in an account. Anyway I have hung onto £200 to put into my emergency savings fund so that's something.

Two debts are now paid off :j:j:j and a load of interest saved :j:j:j with the end in sight. I have £1701 left to get rid off before becoming debt free. To do this by the end of the year would mean paying £8.11 per day or £56.77 per week. Obviously interest will be added but the sooner its gone the better.

Again (I said this last year and everything went t1ts up) I would like to aim for a DFD by my birthday. So that's 149 days away which means £11.42 per day or £79.94 per week...........

I can do this. It means cutting everything to the bone but it can be done. I think I will be spending lots of time getting inspiration to the frugal living challenge.

I think a very frugal holiday is coming up, not that we spend much anyway.

Usually about £209 but with some more cutting I could do more.

It's that fine line between pushing for the extra and cutting to the point of making myself miserable and failing.

I just want it gone and I'm so impatient.:o

Yes I know what you mean INOD. I'm going to try and focus on paying some each day without becoming obsessed as this is when things go wrong. Being sensible is not my usual way but I thought I would try it.;)

I have paid £10 off today which is slightly more than needed to be debt free by the end of the year. The new figures are as follows...

To be free by Christmas

After tomorrow and the littlies birthday on Monday I plan to go hardcore and spend the bare minimum for the rest of the month. The food shop is done, petrol filled up and gas and electric topped up. DD's are covered so it should be doable. Whatever is left at the end of the month will be split between emergency savings and debt repayment.

For the first time ever I think I'm beginning to enjoy the challenge of paying off the debts. Getting sorted is all down to me and I'm determined to get this sorted once and for all. I have to keep at it because once it's sorted it's going to be the mortgage. 12 years left is not acceptable, I want that gone too.:)
