I've just had some lunch and spent time reading my previous diary. I can be such a ponker at times.

One thing which struck me was how I coped when on stat maternity pay. It's easy to let things slide when you have a little more to spend which seems to have happened.

Anyway, Friday is payday so I have decided to hide a chunk away immediately and go back to mat pay levels. It shouldn't be too hard as my current car is much more economical ( the previous one being a real gas guzzler) and I have half a tank left still from last months fill up. Plus its a four week month which is good. If the weather would warm up and stay dry a bit more would be saved too. We can hope, eh.

    Plans for payday.

    Pay all bills
    Take out money for envelopes
    Money to emergency fund
Birthday gift for DS in June - I like to spread the cost
Fill up car and top up gas/electric

I'm back at work for my three days tomorrow and I have loads things to get up to date before I finish and probably won't have time to mooch on MSE. At least come Wednesday I will know my end date and how much I will be getting.

Now, more work then fetch the tiddler.

Things have been so busy I've hardly had time to come on here lately.

I now have an end date which will be 7th July, which is the end of term. Luckily because of the way we are paid I will get my final salary on 31st August. That's two paydays after my final working day. :j That definitely give me some financial breathing space to get the business on roll.

I'm really focussing on the business, home and finances at the moment. I feel that I'm finally finding a life that I feel comfortable with. Just the next 24 working days to get through. This is going to be tough as I have to get everything complete and sorted out.

It's been a lovely weekend. I have spent so much time in my garden and the veggie patch is really coming along. This is good as a few fresh veggies and salads is just what is needed and my weight seems to be spiralling out of control.

A little more work now before picking up DS. Then it will be chaos again.:kisses3::happyhear

After much pondering on my impending new life I have decided that perhaps it's time for a new diary.

This one has been so up and down and I now need to focus more than ever. So many wonderful people have commented and I want to say a huge thank you.

A new chapter will be starting, and defiantly a successful one if it kills me.
