No, not gremlins. He uses a tablet and just presses the predicted words which pop up along the top of the keyboard. Makes me laugh and makes more sense than me.

Mum usually has him but she has got it too. I really need to go in tomorrow with everything going on but its looking unlikely. I hope you little one is better soon.

We shall have to see what happens.

Grr I have just lost a big post.

I have done my first balance transfer this morning and have to admit to feeling very excited. Oh the big chunk of interest saved monthly which will actually cover another payment.......that's a scary thought. I have a small amount left on the card transferred from which needs to be gone asap (next payday) and another card with a small amount which needs to be gone in three months. After that it's the big ones but if I can get another 0% at a later date it would help. I have until September 17 to get this one paid off before charges kick in.

I have also destroyed the pin so I can't use the new card.

Finally I. Becoming a big girl.....especially after my fried bacon and egg sandwich for lunch. Another bunch of excess pounds to be dealt with.

    Morning diary.

Need a rant....have to get it out. Sorry. I would leave now if I were you.

Sent a difficult few weeks. Rumours about the state of my employer were true and we are going through redundancies again. It looks like I'm out or will be offered a much lower paid position. I'm so annoyed and feel stabbed in the back, not just for me but for everyone who has been putting in so much work and are going to lose their job due to what looks like poor financial mismanagement.

Even worse my little one has been diagnosed with ASD. I knew it anyway but to have it confirmed is hard. Life is so, so difficult without him having extra pressures. We will deal with this and as long as he is happy and looked after that is what matters. My little angel, I love him so much and need to do as much as I can to support him as much as I can.

On top of that mums quite poorly. Im so worried about her as she is a tough old bird usually but seems to be struggling to get herself well. She usually collects DS from school so i need to find a way to leave work early this week to collect him. We have tried afternoon club and its a disaster. He cries constantly and gets really distressed. Unfortunately I have employers who seem to believe in the 'Every child matters' mantra but not the staffs own so asking for cover for the last hour of my session will be rejected outright. I don't know what to do apart from taking a few days off sick which I don't what too but have run out of ideas.

Right more job hunting. I need to be ahead of the game before the big chop.

Apologies for being a miserable c0w.

  • Sending you massive hugs, what a lot to deal with at once.

Job - Would you get any redundancy pay if you were able to take that option or would you be able to cope on a reduced wage until you got another job?

DS - get as much support as possible, I'm sure you know lots anyway but even if you find your local parents support group it's good to talk if nothing else. Have you got a local Creatasmile?

Mum - Sorry to hear she is too well, I hope she is on the mend soon, has she been to the GP? Can you explain to work about situation this week, is there anyone else who can pick him up for you? Again I'm sure you've been racking your brains.

Be a miserable so and so whenever you like!

    Thanks for the reply chrysalis.

I would get the statutory minimum redundancy which would be about £2500 at most. This would cover three months wages at least.

I only have mum who can pick up the little one so its a problem. Mother in law lives about 10 miles away and wouldn't do it. To be fair he wouldnt go with her, he is not too keen which is sad really.

I have really been hitting the figures for the past few days and have managed to pay off one card. :T just the rest to focus on now.

I have also added up all my debt including mynhalf of the mortgage and car loan and in total everything adds up to £26511.76. Obviously it will accrue interest but its not a massive amount when put that way. DH is up for trying to pay off the mortgage asap and it would mean always having the security of a roof over our heads. Could I do it by the time I'm 50.....I will know in 4 1/2 years.

1642 days approx which is £16.14 per day plus interest. Food for thought.

    A good morning.

I have checked my account I paid off yesterday and its £0. :j it feels so good to hear. Now I need to ring up and close the account.

I have also realised that I have had NSD's. I'm going to go for a 4th today.

A day today to be spent on my part time business which hopefully will be becoming a full time business soon. Isn't it odd how as the years pass the nerve goes. Years ago I would have just jumped and done what I wanted. Now it takes a little more thought.

Right on with the day. First tidy the kitchen though then money making, proper work.

Edit******** I have called L#ma and closed the account. I don't like using phones and it took me all morning to build up enough courage to do it. Feels good.

Have you applied for DLA for him yet ? It's not means tested and will help.
