I still owe a bit to mum and DH but it feels good to see that figure.
You'll soon be there supersaver. I bet you beat the may 2016 in your signature.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

A few days ago I paid off a small amount which is now showing on it goes to keep me motivated. I wish I had something to sell to pay off the last few hundred. Well I do but I wouldn't sell grannies rings to pay off my own stupidity.
Payment Details
Total paid to date: £27,212.00
Last payment date and amount: 11/12/2014 £50.00
Next payment date and amount: 02/01/2015 £309.00
Estimated total remaining debt*: £872.21
Estimated completion date*: 02/04/2015
When I get paid on the 22nd I can bring this figure down to £587. I have been given £30 by mum for Christmas and can't find anything I want to buy so have been thinking about putting this towards to debt and just buying something with the money when I see something.
Also Payplan have been talking to the creditors about my final balances being so close to the end of the plan. I really hope that the figures don't go up again like last year as this is what set me off into the dark place and I ended up taking my eye off the ball.
At least February and March are council tax free so that will be an extra £90 to throw at it from my half of the payment.
I also really need to get started on an emergency fund. It's the one piece of MSE advice I have read many times and always seemed to ignore.....why? I don't know.......stupidity, lack of organisation???
I'm getting impatient again. Phooey.
Edited to say that the figure above and the one in the signature don't match as I owe some money to family. Once the DMP is paid off I can start throwing the money at that debt.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Ooh well done, I'm sure you won't take your eye of the final hurdle you have done so well. I know how you feel about being impatient, lots of payments go out at once and then nothing for ages!
Do you have water payment free months in March and April too, I always forget this so need to put that in my plans.
Hope everything is OK and you are enjoying the time before Christmas descends.

Nope. Our water payments are six monthly and to be honest the water bill is reasonable compared to some (£93 per six months) so it's not a bill I worry about too much.
But you mentioning this has reminded me that car insurance is due in January, what the link is I don't know, but a search for cash back is needed.
I was lucky to finish for Christmas last Thursday so have a nice three weeks off with one week in the house on my own with DH at work and DS at nursery. I'm trying to blitz it but getting nowhere fast at the moment. Tomorrow it must be done. Plus wrapping pressies .
I hope you plans are going OK.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Water and car insurance - nope that is a tenuous link!!
Ooh lovely time with out other people about, I'm trying to do a small area of cleaning a day so I don't have much to do after I finish on Friday, I've cleared my desk it's amazing how much rubbish from work I have lying around. Next it's the xmas decoration boxes which are still down stairs.
Do you have a water meter? My bill is just over £50 per month :eek:Loan from Mum £500/£300

No, I don't have a water meter. I'm dreading the day it's forced on us. I don't waste water but it always seems to be a more expensive option.
Supersaver, I only work for 37 weeks term time but only get paid for those weeks. So 15 weeks unpaid but the time is worth much more than the money.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

I have paid off £10 today. Not much but a miracle this close to Christmas.
I have looked and looked at many different ways to budget for the next few months to try and pay stuff off as quickly as possible but my heads spinning. I think I possibly need a break from it I do tend to get a bit obsessed. Perhaps I need to stop trying to be clever and get back to a more basic approach.
One thing I'm going to do is sort out a DD for the emergency fund in a currently unused account. I also need to start putting aside funds for annual bills and Christmas next year as I don't want to be in such a tight corner again.
I'm also going to try and get into the garden tomorrow to get it sorted ready for the spring planting. I need to make it as productive as possible next year to cut costs as much as I can.
I don't do New Years resolutions but this year I think it may be I MUST BE MORE ORGANISED.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
