Awww thanks chrysalis.
I think the ostrich from years ago has come to visit again and I need to send it packing. Or perhaps I get some twisted sense of enjoyment about being in debt. No not really, it just very, very disorganised. DH says that he is worried that I'm depressed but the thought of visiting the doctors and talking about feelings makes me feel :eek::eek:. I will get on top of it but I'm just feeling annoyed and angry at the mess I seem to have got myself into again.
I don't think the health issues are helping with the generally cheerful mood but an appointment with the physio on Friday will hopefully help start sorting it......plus a big knife to slice off the layers of fat.
Next year, that's it, I've had enough. I want to be able to enjoy my little one growing up and can't do it with this hanging over my head.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Well said SS. Also, if you are feeling down, don't keep it bottled up. The help I got from here when I was particularly low was amazing and better than the anti depressants. Just come on here and talk to us. It does help. It also will provide you with an objective view of your worth. Don't worry about the weight though. Losing it requires the right frame of mind.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Echoing what's been said, the only times that have helped me are when I've been on here.
Take one step at a time, I hope the physio goes well and if you don't fancy going to the GP is there anyone else you can talk to?
The weight loss needs to be when you're ready as already mentioned and little steps to consolidate the change and then another little step.
Hope you haven't had too bad a day.

Thank you supersaver, INOD and chrysalis for your lovely replies. You're a very supportive bunch. No more hiding, I promise.
I agree this is a fantastic place which has given me motivation over the years but I feel that I have hit the wall at the moment. This will pass but as a very impatient person I'm finding it difficult to deal with.
I'm going to make a start tomorrow on the house as there are a few jobs which can be done with the stuff I have which will make a massive difference. I'm also going to set aside some time each day for decluttering as it's starting to feel claustrophobic again. I want to get it dressed nicely for Christmas for the little one. He is three now and getting very excited.
I have been looking at the money situation tonight and feel with my belt tightened a little I will get through the month. I do get paid on the 22nd but that is going to put in savings until the end of December.
I'm looking forward to the physio tomorrow (I need to get out more) as I want to talk to her about what excercise she recommends to avoid doing more damage. I'm really up for getting into shape and this time of year is good for me as the sight of all that food and chocolate puts me off food. We do have some weights at home which I do enjoy and also some free classes at the fitness hub at the local park.
I'm off to bed now. Thank you again.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Hi Parsniphead, I know the feeling, I think many of us have been there. I'm just starting the climb out but it will take me a while to get there, so you'll have company on your journey. Starting the housework, decluttering and shabby chic projects tomorrow. Need to start even a little. Have a good day. Ss1KOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

I too feel claustrophobic when things slow down money wise. Good to know that I have company. Right I'm back and bl00y p*ssed off with all this debt.
A good weekend all round. The physio went well. It's so nice to get to see someone who seems to know what they are doing. Plus she has advised me on exercise on top of the treatment so I'm feeling happy about getting the weight sorted now.
Moneywise I'm still robbing peter to pay Paul but my mindset has changed ......again.......sorry you guys.......and I will damn well get rid of it next year. I'm going to look at dept at the accounts for next year, plan what will be coming in the out and see where cuts can be made.
On top of that I have started to clear out the mess from this house and feel like I can start to breathe again. I now have an undies draw with undies, no clutter, scissors, poster paint, etc. I also have another draw with tops and jumpers which is only half full.:j
Sorry to come across as manic but I'm feeling positive and a big chunk of that is down to you guys. A big thank you.
Now the new mantra...
I will not be an ostrich, I will not be an ostrich, I will not be an ostrich.
