Okay, maybe i could have seen her while there were issues going on between my family at that time, but i just didn't feel like i could with that on my mind.

You could have also seen her the day after your mate had his little episode too, don't worry, your character behaviour is not unique to you, there are women like that too, it's how others react to them .
That's why I posted earlier, for me, I meet up within 2 weekends, if it doesn't happen it doesn't happen, whatever drama that is occuring in somebody else's life .
I've gone on date's and my mates have come through at the 11th hour, I just have to tell them, they will have to wait until I'm free (and I would expect them to do similar) .

If you don't want our honest opinions, don't ask for them and then moan because they're not what you want to hear. No-one's going to sugarcoat it for you. You messed up. She doesn't owe you anything at all, including an opportunity to explain. Move on.

If your that desperate to talk to her why ask a load of strangers on a forum about it. Grow a pair and ring her if that's what you want to do. If not then don't!

I did ring but answer phone message came in. I tried explaining, but my head was all over the place and I was nervous, so i can't even remember what I said properly.
