I am pregnant and nip to the loo for little more than a dribble most days, I must be using more TP than ever but I had never even noticed..... why would you??
Probably because there's too much in the pan to flush away after the child has been in there.
Nothing strange in noticing that, it would be stranger not to notice if your toilet was stuffed up, wouldn't it?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Just think it is strange to monior usage as a usual and then when she is there.0 -
I do notice we go through double the amount of loo paper when my daughter isx home from Uni but she is at home all day whereas we're both at work. I do still squish the roll in the hope that less is used but apart from that I just accept the higher charges of having her home!
I would maybe talk too her about how much is necessary but wouldn't make a big deal of it and maybe as suggested above, buy cheaper paper.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

oh! the great toilet roll debate!!!
there is not a week goes by in this household regarding loo roll!!
me and my 2 teen girls share a house with my dad... he is forever moaning that he can make 1 roll last over a week(he has his own bathroom), whilst its not strange for us 3 to use one in a day or so... I dont wish to explain that women need more than men!! as we cant just have a shake!!
we also use loo roll for removing make up, blowing noses, etc...."Aunty C McB-Wik"

Four rolls lasts a month??
Lol0 -
its loo roll - costs pennies. most toilets can cope with quite a lot of loo roll...............and kids do use a lot! and it still mystifies me how a roll can go from the holder to the toilet pan without the child touching it!0

IKR. We go through that many in a week!
Some weeks anyway. :rotfl:
All I can say is they can't poo very often. I 'go' twice a day some days, hubby once. But I do know someone who claims she only has a poo once a week!
Sorry TMI Wednesday.(•_•)

I couldn't even tell you how often I go, whenever I need to. I don't think it's once a week, although I can't remember the last time I did, maybe Monday, or Sunday. OH on the other hand is a regular at clockwork and can't start the day without his.
As a family of 5 we still get through 24 rolls a month though.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I was reading an article recently and they interviewed a woman who hadn't bought toilet paper for years but had bought a super soaker for each member of the family..........taking moneysaving to a whole new level2014 Target;

I know that when I am feeling unsettled, the digestion gets uppity and things get ... messy. Those times, i need shedloads of toilet roll to feel remotely clean. Could this be a reason?
I'm not sure if children that young can have IBS but digestion issues are a possibility.Emergency savings: 4600
